Me Tate and staff were great Roberto was an excellent instructor! Food was delicious even the flan ( which is not a favorite of mine ) ! Will be back for a regular dinner !!
Good food. Fun helping prepare the different dishes. Friendly host and very knowledgeable.
This was educational, fun, and delicious food. Know that it lasts longer than three hours, but well worth the money. They give you all the recipes of everything that you make to take home with you. We were a group of two, but we’re there at the table with nine other people and had a wonderful time.
Had an amazing meal with the help of this Chef! Made our own specialty drink, followed by prepping and making Empanadas as our appetizer. Overall experience was amazing.
This was wonderful! We had such a great time and learned so much about the culture and what goes into the meals. The food was amazing. We would highly recommend this, however if you don't have the time for the experience, the restaurant is a must, as all of the menu and the atmosphere is outstanding.

Incredible dinner!! We made our own tequila drinks with the bartender... ceviche, empanadas, tortillas with the chef (Roberto was AMAZING) & they served us pork shank for our main course and a special dessrt for our anniversary!! Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys a great experience in an authentic Mexican restaurant.
We had an absolutely perfect experience at the Metate cooking class that may just have been the highlight of our trip. Roberto led us through a tour of the restaurant and the gardens, explaining how all of the fruit and nut trees and herbs are used in various recipes. After a trip to the bar to try our hand at making some delicious mescal cocktails, we learned out to make a trio of outstanding appetizers using very traditional Mexican techniques. This was followed by a main course and dessert that we simply sat back and enjoyed. The atmosphere, service, and food were all outstanding. More than anything, we loved having Roberto share his passion for cooking and knowledge with us. We can’t recommend this enough!
Very informative, loved the garden and explanation of things used in the chefs dishes. Left feeling stuffed with a new knowledge of Mexican dishes.
