Itinerario
Situato a Midleton, a circa 15 minuti di auto dalla città di Cork, i visitatori iniziano guardando un video informativo che vi introdurrà alla storia di Jameson che produce whisky irlandese da più di 240 anni. Successivamente fare una passeggiata attraverso la vecchia distilleria in compagnia di una Guida Esperta. Entra in un magazzino del XIX secolo, che è stato accuratamente restaurato con caratteristiche originali e ora conserva botti piene di whisky invecchiato. Termina al Jameson Bar, dove tutti i partecipanti potranno prendere parte a una degustazione comparativa. Scopri come distinguere Jameson dai diversi tipi di whisky. Brilliant experience from start to finish
Me and my Fiancée have been looking forward to doing this tour for a long time now and we finally got down to Midleton to experience it. As soon as you walk into the building you are meet with a fantastic wall of whiskey bottles that is a brilliant statement and really sets the tone for the Distillery. We done the Distillery tour with a Premium Whiskey tasting. I unknowingly booked the premium tasting, if you are an enjoyer of whiskey then it was absolutely worth the extra price. It was brilliant to be able to sample some of the more premium whiskeys at a reasonable price. A special mention goes out to Daniel, our tour guide and Emily, who guided us through the tasting. Daniel was very knowledgeable about the distillery, was so friendly, we all felt we could have the craic with him for the duration of the tour and he was very happy to answer any questions that came his way. Emily was equally brilliant during the tasting, she presented each of the whiskeys clearly and she was so descriptive with the different tasting notes and smells of each whiskey and overall made it a really welcoming atmosphere for the tasting. All the staff we encountered were brilliant across the whole Distillery, with all of them making us feel welcome in the Distillery. Across the bar, the shop, the tour and tasting we spent around 3 and half hours there and it was worth every minute, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we would happily return to sample some of the other experiences on offer at the Midleton Distillery.
Loved the tour. Tour guide was great and very informative. Would like to have Powers as an option for the whiskey tasting and also have Powers merchandise available to buy.

Brilliant experience - the grounds are beautiful and it all felt very high standard. Our tour guide Neil was wonderful - very knowledgeable and you could tell he was passionate about everything. The whiskey tasting was delicious. All the staff were brilliant - would highly recommend!
Excellent tour. Nina was a perfect guide.
We did this one because I wanted to see where it was made. Most would do bow street because it is in Dublin and around other things but this is not to be slept on. I was already a huge Red Breast and Spot fan but it was cool knowing the deeper specifics of the craft and the history of the brands. Katie was fantastic and was able to answer every Niche question I had and you can really tell she loves what she does. Aoibhe at the bar was wonderful too. One of the best whiskey tours I have done. Be sure to do the premium tasting and buy the offered bottle while buying tickets. Almost didn’t do it until I learned of all the other whiskeys besides just the green bottle Jameson. Glad I didn’t miss this!
Excellent tour with well informed friendly guide. Steph answered all our questions and went looking for answers. Location is well looked after, well laid out and a pleasure to visit. We had initially bought the incorrect tickets and were helped out with no hesitation, reducing our costs substantially. All staff are helpful and well informed. Thoroughly recommend. Non drinkers can enjoy a delicious lemonade at end of tour.
