Cooking Class e Margarita Madness a Valle de Guadalupe

We came with 4 couples while staying in Guadalupe Valle, we had the best time doing the cooking class with Enrique, then we had a very interesting and informative wine tasting with Luis we learned a lot about the history of their wines and bought a bottle of each of their delicious wine. Then drove to Ensenada for the tequila tasting our guide was Felix and we had a great time sampling their tequilas. We all had such a great time and would highly recommend this tour.

This is a beautiful facility up in the wine country hills of Ensenada. We did this experience as a "port adventure" from our Disney cruise. Yes, the margaritas are unlimited -- with a refreshing and tasty non-alcoholic version for those who don't care to imbibe. As you might expect, they don't mix them strong, so you don't need to worry about forgetting everything you learn in the cooking class (or forgetting that you took a cooking class). :-) The food is wonderful! The chef demonstrated a molcajete salsa (that I didn't dare try after seeing how many chiles were involved). We each created our own personal bowl of guacamole, followed by a chicken enchilada with a silky tomatillo salsa, and a tostada with flavorful machaca beef. Everything was great. You don't "cook", exactly, but you do assemble your own servings and can customize things to your taste. The people here are really lovely -- warm, friendly, and funny. A very worthwhile experience to get a little glimpse into the culture, cuisine, and life of Ensenada.

Francisco was very informative He took very good care of my family as we toured three separate locations of Ensenada, my glass was never empty during the cooking class. He accommodated hour every request

Transportation was arranged and they provided clear directions. Our driver for the day, Victor, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and was great at pointing out sights! The experience was great. Food was absolutely delicious, we learned a lot of tips for choosing ingredients & cooking tricks. The mezcal tasting was fun and informative. We enjoyed learning about where the food comes from, cooking and also learning some local Mexican history of the area.

The class was fun, the food and salsa was delicious and easy to follow along. The margaritas were extremely watered down. The location is near a few wineries which was a nice surprise.

If you’re second guessing booking this cooking class/ wine tasting . Don’t, BOOK IT. Went for my friend’s birthday during a cruise and we absolutely LOVED it. The food was great and the cooking class was super fun. The wine was too, and informative about Ensenada’s wine history. The owner (Luis) and the cooking instructor Brenda were so welcoming, accommodating, and charming. The venue was beautiful lots of photos opportunity’s . Best excursion hands down, 10/10. Five stars.

This was a brilliant trip, the venue, food & unlimited Margaritas were amazing. A word of warning, if travelling by uber/taxi, double check the details with the driver before you leave out, as we ended up in the wrong place to start with. Luis & Alfonso were amazing thou as they very kindly helped us get back to the cruise terminal afterwards!! A really lovely family run venue which deserves to do really well, Thankyou!!

I am surprised there is no reviews. My family (me, my wife 3 teens, and grandma) LOVED this it was perfect balance for adults and families. My very picky eaters now love to make their own tacos because of what they learned! the food was good the atmosphere was beautiful, and I could not recommend this more!

a 10/10 experience. our driver’s name was erich & he was very kind. he had also offered us water & told us a lot about ensenada during our car ride. the destination was about 35 mins from the port & we had many questions during our car ride. he was able to give us recommendations on ensenada’s fish tacos which were also a 10/10!! the experience overall was great! we arrived a little late but they were all so welcoming & attentive to us. i believe sarah was the instructor & she was so funny, she made the experience entertaining & informative. first we made salsa which was so delicious, then we made guacamole which was also amazing, learned how to make enchiladas & tostadas as well. oh & i can’t forget to mention the unlimited margaritas!! i drank 4 & was already feeling it. after the cooking part, we tried 6 different mezcals. the passionfruit was so good, we brought one home. from there, erich’s boss helped us. totally forgot his name but he was super helpful & nice. he helped with our wine course & gave us 3 different ones to try. all of them worked together to give us such a memorable experience. i definitely recommend booking this. i feel like we got so much out of it for the price too!
