Per prima cosa ci incontreremo nel quartiere 20 de Julio, poi scaleremo la montagna chiamata Independencia 1, il quartiere con più graffiti di tutta Medellín, e spiegheremo la storia dietro molti di questi graffiti. Poi entreremo nella casa di mia nonna per provare uno speciale e tipico gelato al mango con sale e limone, incluso nel tour, e all'interno della casa di mia nonna spiegherò tutto sul doloroso passato della Comuna 13, le nostre storie personali, proprio come le storie degli abitanti di questa Comuna. Poi prenderemo le scale mobili che portano in cima alla montagna e vi mostrerò un punto panoramico incredibile da cui ammirare l'intera città di Medellín. Poi andremo a Independencia 2 per approfondire la seconda parte della storia. Parleremo della più grande fossa comune urbana in un quartiere al mondo, nonché del presente e della trasformazione di Comuna 13.

The Comuna 13 tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. Great morning with Joe in Communa 13! The tour itself was excellent and great value for money - we learned a lot about the area and got to try some amazing Colombian food. It was a touch difficult communicating with the company - I didn’t hear anything at all from them, but the instructions were clear on the ticket so as long as you follow those it’ll be a smooth day!
