Itinerario
Dopo aver parcheggiato nel parcheggio ufficiale, sarete indirizzati all'inizio del sentiero per Poço Ribeira do Ferreiro. Quando si raggiunge il punto panoramico principale, si possono ammirare decine di cascate che scorrono lungo il pendio verdeggiante della collina. Ci sarà una sosta per contemplare, riposare e scattare foto, prima di tornare lungo lo stesso percorso.
Dopo aver raggiunto il parcheggio di Fajã Grande, la nostra guida vi condurrà all'ingresso del sentiero che conduce alla cascata del Poço do Bacalhau. Quando arrivate, vedrete un'impressionante cascata alta circa 90 metri, con una piscina di acqua cristallina alla base. Ci sarà una sosta di un'ora al massimo per godersi il paesaggio, riposarsi e, se lo si desidera, fare un tuffo rinfrescante, prima di tornare al punto di partenza.
Dopo aver raggiunto il parcheggio accanto all'attrazione, la nostra guida vi accompagnerà in una breve passeggiata fino al punto panoramico Rocha dos Bordões. Dal belvedere si può contemplare questa impressionante formazione rocciosa, unica nelle Azzorre, con le sue immense colonne verticali che assomigliano a canne d'organo. Ci fermeremo per circa 10 minuti per osservare, fotografare e goderci il paesaggio circostante prima di rientrare.
Dopo aver parcheggiato all'ingresso principale, la nostra guida vi condurrà al punto panoramico di Lagoa Negra. Al punto di osservazione si può contemplare il colore scuro e profondo delle acque, circondate da pendii verdi e da un'atmosfera di tranquillità. Ci fermeremo per circa 15 minuti per contemplare, fotografare e goderci la natura, prima di tornare al punto di partenza.
Dopo aver raggiunto il parcheggio di accesso, la nostra guida vi accompagnerà ai punti panoramici di Caldeira Funda e Caldeira Rasa. Dal belvedere si può ammirare la Caldeira Funda, con la sua laguna dalle acque profonde e la fitta vegetazione circostante, e, poco più avanti, la Caldeira Rasa, più piccola e meno profonda, ma altrettanto incantevole. Ci fermeremo per circa 15 minuti per osservare, fotografare e contemplare la natura prima di tornare.
Dopo aver parcheggiato nell'area di accesso, la nostra guida vi condurrà al punto panoramico Lagoa da Lomba. Dal punto di osservazione si possono contemplare le acque serene della laguna, circondate da una vegetazione lussureggiante e da dolci montagne. Faremo una sosta per contemplare, fotografare e goderci il paesaggio tranquillo prima di rientrare.
Dopo aver parcheggiato all'accesso principale, la nostra guida vi accompagnerà in una breve passeggiata fino al Faro di Albarnaz. Da qui si gode di una vista panoramica sull'oceano e sulle isole vicine. Ci sarà una sosta per la contemplazione, le fotografie e il tempo libero per esplorare i dintorni prima del ritorno.

It was the best choice to take this tour, a complete tour, visiting the beautiful spots on Flores island. The initial tour was with Renata, but due to the heavy rain for half of the day some spots weren't visible. Due to their availability we got the opportunity the next day to see the missing points with Helder, Renata's husband and therefore we've managed to see the whole island. On both days the tour started with the direct pick-up, continued over the many photo stops and a short trail. On the first day we had a great lunch, trying local food, delicious. Both Renata and Helder are very responsible and safe drivers, sharing with us many information about the island, they are cool people and was nice to have them as guides. We really appreciated their availability to see the missing view points on the second day and to drive us to the airport. I would 100% recommend Dona Julia Tours to anyone visiting Flores.

Complete tour by van of Flores. If you have limited time, this is perfect to see the highlights in one day. It's mostly sitting in the van, less active tour.

Excellent way to see all points of interest on the island. We were never rushed and spent as long as wanted at stops. Also able to take some walking breaks.

Our tour of Flores was led by Hinata, who was an excellent guide. She owns and operates the company with her husband, Helder, who we also met at one of the tour stops. Hinata showed us all over the island, taking us to multiple viewpoints and even a couple of short hikes. The weather wasn't very good to start the day, but that didn't deter her; she simply adjusted the schedule to ensure we could still see everything once the weather cleared up. I would 100% recommend Dona Julia Tours to anyone visiting Flores.

Excellent overview - stopping at almost every viewpoint, and two hikes to waterfalls that were amazing. The lakes were fogged in - so they picked me up the next morning for a mini-tour to see the lakes!

The tour was very complete, allowing us to see some of the island’s most iconic points, such as lagoons, waterfalls and miradours. However, it would have been even more enriching with more sharing about local history and geology. Renata was very attentive and made every effort to make sure we visited all the places of interest, so I thank you, but I think you could benefit from a deeper local knowledge.
