Itinerario
Inizierai di fronte al secondo edificio amministrativo più grande del mondo, il Palazzo del Parlamento, che fa parte dell'ultimo progetto comunista megalomane.
Parte della città vecchia venne quasi demolita per fare spazio al nuovo Viale della Vittoria Socialista.
Ispirato all'Opera Garnier di Parigi, questo luogo è legato all'inizio della democrazia in Romania ma anche all'inizio del movimento comunista.
Costruito negli anni '80, parte del viale della Vittoria Socialista, questo punto di riferimento è ora una meraviglia con le sue fontane danzanti.
Considerato il simbolo dell'antico regime, questo luogo venne abbandonato durante l'era comunista.
La Romania è stato l'unico paese del blocco comunista che si è concluso con una sanguinosa rivoluzione, la maggior parte delle vittime sono state uccise in questa piazza.
Oggi Museo Nazionale d'Arte, questo luogo fungeva da residenza invernale della famiglia reale rumena, ma durante i primi anni del comunismo divenne il Palazzo della Repubblica e un edificio protocollo.
Uno degli edifici più rappresentativi di Bucarest, lo abbiamo stampato con orgoglio sulla banconota da 5 lei.
L'edificio principale di questa piazza era il Comitato Centrale del Partito Comunista, dal quale Nicolae Ceausescu tenne il suo ultimo discorso davanti al popolo rumeno.

We had a wonderful trip together with our guide Daniel… you could tell he is extremely passionate about the topic and answered all our questions with expertise. We would definitely recommend this trip if you want to get a real understanding and a nuanced image of communism and its rise and fall in Roumania and what it has meant to the Romanian people… Eye-opening!

Daniel was a wonderful guide: passionate, funny, very knowledgeable about the past and present of his country. He went out of his way to show us photos and videos from the 80's and 90's, gave us many recommendations and was, in general, a very pleasant person. The tour was amazing and our guide was really really great. His name. His name is Daniel and he’s very knowledgeable about history and you can see. He has a passion for it.. he was also very gracious and helped us when we were hit by a terrible storm in the middle of the tour. He helped us cover and protect ourselves from falling trees. We had an absolutely amazing tour with Daniel and cannot recommend him enough. He was incredibly attentive to the needs of the group and always made sure everyone was engaged and enjoying the experience. What we especially loved was how interactive he made the tour. He showed us photos and videos of the historical events he talked about, which made everything so much more interesting and memorable. You can immediately tell that Daniel is truly passionate about what he does and his enthusiasm is contagious. We were genuinely impressed and would recommend every group to ask for Daniel. He is by far the best tour guide we have ever had!
