Questo tour ti lascerà affascinato dalla cultura guatemalteca. Discuteremo i 500 anni di storia di Antigua, Guatemala, e parleremo della geografia, della politica, delle etnie Maya, della storia e delle attrazioni turistiche di questo bellissimo paese. Dopo aver esplorato i principali siti di Antigua, inizieremo il nostro tour del mercato, vagando tra le strette bancarelle, vedendo il modo in cui la gente del posto fa shopping. Dopo aver imparato a conoscere l'industria agricola, saremo in grado di assaggiare alcuni prodotti guatemaltechi e poi sedersi a pranzo in un comedor locale dove è possibile ordinare alcuni dei cibi tradizionali più gustosi in giro! Il pranzo non è incluso nel prezzo del tour e costa in media 40Q a persona. Possiamo accogliere restrizioni dietetiche.

Itinerario
Iniziamo da Iglesia de la Merced, a nord della città, percorriamo la 5a Avenida, discutendo delle attrazioni lungo il percorso. Vaghiamo per il parco centrale di Antigua e parliamo degli edifici storici, della geografia, della cultura e della politica del Guatemala. Dopo il tour a piedi, torniamo a Central Park per iniziare il nostro tour del mercato.
Il mercato locale è dove le persone vengono per fare acquisti, mangiare ed esplorare le bancarelle. È un ottimo modo per conoscere i modi in cui il mercato locale influenza la vita del villaggio e anche per capire i prodotti agricoli unici venduti qui.

Christine gave me a personal tour as I was the only one booked for the time slot. She was warm and welcoming and gave a great insight to local history and a variety of venues. The trip to the market was especially unique because she takes you to places a traveler would probably not ventured into on their own. Great value for your time snd money in Antigua!
