To book food in advance there ar3 no reply good places to eat in modena. And to plan in advance. And the ferrari shop is really expensive.
Both tours were great, no issues whatsoever. My shuttle to and from however, even though I had a booking, the driver would not let me on, he said I have no space for you, then pushed me aside to let others on. I told the ticket desk at Maranello, they made a phone call and he denied this happened. I was then told it’s his word against yours! So I ended up being a further €40 out of pocket for an uber.
The moment I walked into Ferrari Maranello I had goosebumps, I was so overwhelmed by the cars I nearly teared up. Stunning display. For tourists that don’t know, take your time, read the displays, I wish someone had told me this before I went. I caught a train from Bologna to Modena. There’s NO INFORMATION OR DIRECTIONS OR SIGNAGE on where to go once you’re there. The shuttle bus is like the regular bus and leaves from bus platform 4 at 10:40, it is packed and possibly you will need to stand, it takes around 20 mins to maranello, with very little air con, then there are NO buses back until 2:45pm, so take your time and take snacks as you’re paying Ferrari prices in the cafeteria. If I knew I would have walked to Enzo Ferrari Museum first from Modena train station as the same bus will pick you up from there at 10:41. Enjoy the Ferrari’s well worth it but I’d do it independently next time.
Great way to visit the 2 Ferrari Museums and facilities. Efficient pick up and transfers from the Modena Train Station. Note: it was a bit confusing on which bus to take. It is NOT one of the City Buses, it is a private Ferrari owned red bus that transfers you to the factory in Maranello. Terrific tour of the Maranello facility and museum. If you are a Ferrari fan or a racing fan, this is a great day!
It was very interesting to see so many models of Ferrari cars. History was well explained. Loved seeing all the trophy’s..
Information was very unclear once arriving at the museum. We purchased a ticket ahead of time, but you had to go stand in line and they could not scan the QR code. Caused a lot of confusion and angry people in line. The other thing that would’ve been appreciated if there would’ve been headphones that talked and discussed the history of Ferrari.
The offer was misleading. It provided NOTHING more than could be accomplished totally on one’s own: a twice a day public bus shuttle to the Ferrari location and entry tickets. It did not give accurate instruction about where to pick up the shuttle, and when we called the tour provider, we were told “sorry, you missed the bus.”
When we arrived at the museum there was no tickets waiting for us as promised in the voucher. We were instructed to call the middle-man operator, with an international call, but there was no answer. we had to buy all new tickets and waste an hour of museum time trying to sorting things out. this is my second time using Viator on our trip to Italy and second time being let down. There will not be a third.
