Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She answered all questions and helped us reimagine the location. She was kind and patient.
First time in Italy and these places are a must see. So I booked this tour for my family. I normally don’t get a tour guide but wanted to get to know the history and facts of these places. The tour guide was very knowledgeable but I am not one to stand in one place for education and neither was my family. Maybe it was a mixture of our tour guide, the heat and the crowd but we decided to break away from the tour to look around. The price for the tour was great. Theres a line for general entry and a tour guide line which was way better than waiting that huge entry line. Again, these places are a must see and it’s amazing how it was built w/out the equipment used today.

We learned a tremendous amount about the Colosseum and Palatine Hill from Sabrina. She was an excellent Tour Guide. She treated us with the utmost respect and kindness. We are two Seniors in our mid Seventies who love to learn about previous generations of people and places and Sabrina has a wealth of knowledge and understanding as to how the people of Rome lived in the past as well as the evolution of the archeological digs that occurred up to current timeframe. She showed us how buildings to this day such as the capital building in Rome used prior generations of previous architectures as the basis and foundation of newer and current buildings built right on top of those of the past for their existing structures! Her analogy of Rome being like Lasagna which has layers on top of one another is an outstanding fit for the aforementioned. This was a group tour and we’d recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn about the history of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill with Sabrina. She is a local, a Roman and is extremely knowledgeable. As a matter of fact, when we return we will look to see if Sabrina is available for a private tour for both of us so we can enjoy and learn even more from her.
