La chiesa carmelitana di San Giuseppe e Santa Maria Maddalena a Würzburg fu costruita da Antonio Petrini dal 1662 al 1669. Fu la prima chiesa barocca di Würzburg, sopravvissuta ai tragici eventi della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Circa 500 persone furono riparate dai bombardamenti nella spaziosa cripta sotto la chiesa, dove nacque un bambino durante l'inferno. Il 16 marzo 1945 le volte della chiesa, che fungevano da ricovero antiaereo pubblico, furono distrutte da bombe o da una tempesta di fuoco e gli arredi "per nulla modesti" bruciarono quasi completamente. Non preoccuparti! La chiesa è stata completamente ricostruita nel 1950, quindi puoi continuare a scoprire le sue storie nascoste guardandoti intorno per trovare la risposta alla nostra sfida e avanzare al luogo successivo.

Nonostante sia rimasta incompleta durante il periodo medievale per alcuni secoli, la cattedrale di Colonia alla fine è stata unificata come "un capolavoro di eccezionale valore intrinseco" e "una potente testimonianza della forza e della persistenza della fede cristiana nell'Europa medievale e moderna". La "massiccia cintura di cemento intorno alla cattedrale", Domplatte è una piattaforma pedonale dove avviene la magia. Hiroshima-Nagasaki-Park. Nome iconico, luogo iconico! Si tratta di un parco inaugurato nel 2004 a Colonia per commemorare i tragici eventi avvenuti durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Qui troverete l'Abolish Nuclear Weapons Memorial che è stato svelato nel parco, circondato da tre alberi: un ginkgo per Hiroshima, una ciliegia giapponese per Nagasaki e un pioppo nero per Colonia. Il memoriale mostra una gru origami che si riferisce a una leggenda giapponese, secondo la quale chiunque pieghi 1000 gru origami (sembazuru) riceve un desiderio degli dei Ha più significato di quanto ci si aspetterebbe, quindi non dimenticare di dare un'occhiata prima di andare al prossimo checkpoint.
Strade acciottolate, edifici dall'aspetto storico, layout compatto. Fatto solo per vagabondare. Il centro storico di Colonia ha un fascino storico distintivo. I visitatori sono attratti dai suoi vicoli rustici e stretti fiancheggiati da vecchie case tradizionali. Innumerevoli birrerie, pub e ristoranti invitano i passanti a soffermarsi. Qui puoi goderti una birra alla spina Kölsch o provare il tipico panino Halver Hahn di Colonia per assicurarti di rimanere idratato ed energizzato fino alla fine della partita in città.
La stazione centrale di Colonia è sicuramente una delle stazioni ferroviarie più grandiose della Germania. Essendo situato nel cuore della città, puoi andare da qui a ovunque o puoi semplicemente visitarlo come attrazione turistica. Se hai perso il treno, allora puoi sicuramente risolvere il prossimo indizio che ti porterà alla destinazione finale.
Il più antico museo d'arte dell'Asia orientale in tutta Europa e l'unico nel Nord Reno-Westfalia si trova a Colonia. Inaugurata nel 1913, la casa mostra preziose opere d'arte provenienti da Cina, Corea e Giappone. La tua visita ti porterà a dipinti buddisti e sculture in legno, dipinti su schermo giapponesi, xilografie a colori e arte della lacca, porcellane e ceramiche dall'età del bronzo al XIX secolo. Mentre sei qui, puoi dedicare il tuo tempo ad osservare anche l'architettura dell'edificio, che è di per sé un'opera d'arte, con cubi chiaramente strutturati che sono legati alle antiche tradizioni giapponesi e allo stesso tempo sviluppano un nuovo, moderno tocco di design. The audio did not match up to the written history. Also locations were vaguely written into an incoherent story, would definitely pass on this one. Also, it’s a bit of a hike… would be better on a bike.
Not all the clues were correct, a bit disappointing as the one we done previously was very good. Still a lovely walk though.

The way to explore a city is great. You see things you wouldn't have seen like that. Also the info was great. I had done this quest alone, can definitely recommend it for groups. I will definitely do some more quests from now on.

If you like a good mix of historical and personal facts spiced up with a few fictious dramatic story twists, this is a fun way to explore the life of the alleged witch Katharina Henot, Germanys first female Postmaster and alternative herbal medic. She was innocent, but like so many others back then, burned alive at the Melaten Cemetery in Cologne. Yes, it is a long quest but well worth it!

I should have believed one of the previous reviewers...... You have to feel like downloading tons of apps, registering again and again with mail addresses, booking numbers, etc. to handle the different programs of the mobile devices to get the whole thing going. In all this back and forth, the Apple system apparently created a “secure” mail address unnoticed, which then did not match my actual mail address and disaster was already pre-programmed: Paid for, got tickets and then nothing worked. Originally we just wanted to take a fun walk from the starting point to the city centre. After about 45 minutes of “logging in” we gave up unnervingly. The support didn't work either..! From here I revise my review: The organizer refunded the money to us. There's the second star for that. We have played similar games from other providers in different cities and have always enjoyed them - but we have not experienced such a complicated and error-prone process.

In Ihrem Fall scheint das Problem entstanden zu sein, weil Sie sich mit Ihrer Apple-ID angemeldet und dabei Ihre E-Mail-Adresse verborgen haben. Dadurch konnte das System Ihre Buchung leider nicht korrekt zuordnen. Wir arbeiten aktuell an einem Update, das es ermöglicht, die Apple-Relay-E-Mail-Adresse direkt in der App unkompliziert zu ändern – ohne sich abmelden zu müssen. So lassen sich solche Fälle künftig leichter lösen. Wir verstehen Ihren Frust sehr gut und bedauern, dass Ihre Erfahrung nicht wie geplant verlaufen ist. Gleichzeitig möchten wir erwähnen, dass bereits über eine Million Menschen Questo erfolgreich gespielt haben. Vielleicht geben Sie dem Erlebnis ja zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch einmal eine Chance.
It’s quite fun to do such a Questo. This is the 4th one I've done. I always have the idea that I don't really see highlights alone. Also at this Questo in Cologne. The starting point is quite far from the center and then you walk to the center. I would really like more focus on the higlights. Furthermore, I like that there is variety of an exciting story, assignments and information. The assignments may be a bit more difficult and sometimes they cannot be answered properly due to the translation (tip: set the Questo language to English).

Had a great time playing! It was super easy to follow, and we loved being able to go at our own pace. The stories were spooky and fun, and it took us to some really interesting parts of the city we might’ve missed otherwise. Definitely recommend it!

I thought I could take my family and walk this tour. Yet, the distance was too far. Because of the distance, I ended up not even doing the tour. This is a waste of money. If you want to do something like this, get a tour guide who will pick you up and drive you around. Otherwise, don’t waste your money.

The starting point is 30 minutes outside the old town, would be helpful if that were explicitly mentioned in the description. Too bad we were really looking forward to it.

Don’t bother. The directions are obscure. The story is nonsensical. The history is ridiculous. The points of interest are frivolous.
