Tour della Valle del Cocora e della Cascata di Santa Rita

Conoscere la Valle di Cocora con tutte le sue attrazioni artificiali e naturali con un ampio tour, passeggiate a cavallo fino al fiume con una piccola cascata (si può cavalcare anche senza esperienza) e inoltre conoscere la vera bellezza nelle valli e nei punti panoramici delle palme da cera e i suoi bellissimi paesaggi a 360 gradi con le sue attrazioni come la grande insegna di Cocora. Dopo aver gustato tanto, niente di meglio del pranzo tipico (riso, insalata, patacon gigante con trota, hogao e limonata) se non vi piace il pesce potete sostituirlo con carne di manzo, cotoletta di pollo o filetto di maiale (a seconda della carne, il piatto può avere delle variazioni). Avventuratevi in una visita alla cascata di Santa Rita, dove potrete visitare una bellissima fattoria dei sogni e i suoi giardini, per iniziare il resto dell'escursione passando attraverso le gallerie della vecchia ferrovia, il bosco naturale, i paesaggi del campeggio e i ponti sospesi. Quando si raggiunge la cascata si trova un'area di cambio per il nuoto.

Itinerario
Partendo dal Salento, comune padre di Quindío, partiremo per la Valle del Cocora in jeep willys transport per circa 20-25 minuti, accompagnati dalla guida locale.
Abbiamo fatto un bellissimo giro attraverso la valle delle palme e i punti panoramici delle palme di cera della Colombia e l'area dell'inizio della montagna.
Passeggiata a cavallo di circa 30 minuti (opzionale) dalla scuderia esperanza al minibosco naturale e passaggio lungo il fiume che forma una piccola cascata.
Pranzo tipico salentino (riso, fagioli o grano del giorno, carne del giorno, insalata o limonata) o combo con trota patacon gigante, maiale o pollo con insalata, riso e limonata.
Visita alla Fattoria Santa Rita che in un percorso ad anello ci farà vedere una cascata di 17 metri a cui possiamo accedere, una piscina naturale, (grotte e cunicoli facoltativi)

We went on the tour with Nicolas and were amazed by the wax palms. When you stop for a little coffee, make sure to try the cake with guava and cheese!

Loved this tour, it had everything we wanted. Daniel was an excellent guide and pointed out a lot of things we would've missed about plants, nature, native birds, and the history. The horse back riding was a great experience but in the short side, there are other tours that feature more of that if you want a longer house back riding experience. The views from the lookout of the cocora valley are stunning. You will see nature in its splendor as well as all the photo op spots (the hand, wings, cocora valley sign, etc). There's also the option of a seeing a bigger waterfall or smaller one. We chose the one big one. The hike to get there was steep and challenging so be forewarned. We made it and it was worth the effort. Bonus, this cute dog that lives on the area will walk up with you and guide you to the spot. Overall great experience and I would recommend.
This was a great tour! Our guide Dani was so kind and informative. We learned a lot and had a great day of adventures. I enjoyed having a guide to handle everything even though it is possible to go on your own. He taught us a lot of things I wouldn't otherwise know about the area. Great experience!
The tour was a great way to experience the Cocora Valley. I really enjoyed being able to be in the valley before large amounts of people arrived for the day. Would definitely recommend.
