Cocktail Fantasia

We went as a large all-female hen party having had a speakeasy experience cancelled the same week. Fair warning, it’s held in the host’s apartment rather than a bar. There’s a lot of theatrics, including being blindfolded 5 minutes after you walk in and drinking shots without seeing what you’re drinking, which we found questionable from a safety point of view as an all female group. There was loud, overstimulating noises and the host dressing up in a tiara and cape were also unnecessary / strange in our opinion. The cocktail-making started very late in the experience (last 30 minutes), but once it began was quite informative. Definitely a unique experience, but very expensive for what it is and we felt it could have been done in an hour. If you’re looking for a traditional cocktail making class I’d suggest this isn’t the one for you.

At first we were a bit caught off guard by the way with all the coded doors (very typical for Paris, as we learned), but we were warmly welcomed and everything was really adapted to us. We learned a lot, had great fun under excellent guidance, and received many valuable tips about both cocktails and Paris. We definitely recommend this activity. Thank you so much for the exciting and wonderful experience and the attentive way to adapt to our group.

Great experience! Me and my friends had a great time thanks to Maxime. I loved the moment we explored the different tastes/flavors blindly. Without forgetting, of course, the final tasting! In short, an activity to do if you want to learn the art of mixology without stress or pressure!

Great experience in a friendly setting. For almost 2 hours we awaken our senses by letting ourselves be carried by the original storytelling of the workshop. Perfect for an introduction to mixology, frank laughter and complicity with people you’ve never seen before and the feeling of having spent an evening with your friends. Real cool. I intend to patent my cocktail, it was the best 😎
