Coasteering a Caloura (Sao Miguel - Azzorre)

Absolutely amazing experience!!! My boyfriend and I have never done anything like this before but it was extremely beginner friendly and safe. The guides were funny, kind, and reassuring the entire time. Will definitely book through here again for their other activities!!

We had such a great time on the coasteering trip. We had a few people that never hesitated on the jumps and others that preferred lower jumps and needed more time. Our guides were great making sure everyone was comfortable including my 11 year old. Highly recommend this trip!

Quentin and Ines helped us feel safe to jump from high spots, and enter a white water 'washing machine'. Do this not only for the opportunity to step outside your comfort zone, but also to connect with travelers from other countries. It's a bonding experience and a fantastic memory. Happiness lies in challenging yourself and connecting to people... This offers both. I highly recommend the adventure!

We had a wonderful experience. Our tour guides were great, very encouraging, and gave us some interesting information about the area. We went in July on a cloudy day, which helped with the heat. If we ever do this again, I know that I will make sure to have a water bottle with some cold water in it to put down my son's wetsuit before we begin. He's 10 and gets uncomfortable easily, and before we got wet, we had to walk a bit in our wetsuits, life jackets, and helmets. I learned recently that kids overheat faster than adults, so while we were fine, he was definitely getting too warm. Once we got in the water, he had the BEST time ever! SO I would recommend making sure your younger ones have some cool water to help them out. We went as a family, ages 45, 15, 12, and 10, and we all loved it. Highly, highly recommend.

Coasteering was amazing! The kids loved it and had so much fun! The tour guides Ricardo and titiana were extremely nice and funny. We got to jump off many rock formations into the ocean, explore rock caves, and jump into tide pools! All in all it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend if you want some adventure. It was definitely more adventurous than canyoning which we did earlier in the week and also enjoyed, so we were glad we did this second. There is walking along rough lava cliffs along the ocean and jumping into the ocean. You have a wetsuit and lifevest so are safe, but it was still a little scary. They offer alternatives if you don’t want to do the higher jumps. Our 9/10 year olds did great but make sure kids are able to be safe and follow directions.

This was such an unusual and awesome experience! The guides were knowledgeable, fun, safe, and really engaging. The jumps could be a little scary but there were ways to climb down lower if you’re too far out of your comfort zone. I’d definitely recommend this activity for family and friends!

Magical and unmissable experience. The best way to discover the ocean and a fantastic guide. A must-do!

Our party of 9 was booked for the coasteering in Caloura and unfortunately the waves were too intense and dangerous to do this off the coast, thankfully our guide Bruno moved us to the bay. This may have been the "milder" of the two excursions but it turned out perfect for our group and Bruno made it very fun! They provide wetsuits, helmets and booties. The water was freezing but you get acclimated. Our group's ages ranged from 8-50yr. This was active and fun enough to entertain the kids but easy enough for the adults ;)

Great experience! The guides, Paolo and Pablo, wer excellent. The experience was tailored to our skills. Local knowledge was strong and we were very safe. Very fun (even for this 50+). Good time, great cliff jumping! Thanks!
