Very interesting to see all the wildlife, our guide Raven was very informative and educated us on all the animals that we came across kayaking.
Raven was super knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience very enjoyable! We saw several bird species and a few dolphins, one within about 5ft! We collected lots of shells and it was cool to go through the mangroves. The early tour was perfect and just the right amount of time.
Alessia was incredible with us, the best trip with kayak in st. Pete!!
We did this as part of a work trip in early June and I honestly couldn't recommend this experience enough. Raven and Jenna were super knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun! We were also super lucky and saw two manatees from the jetty which was very special - especially out of season.
We had such an amazing time on this clear kayak tour! Jesse was an incredible guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable from start to finish. He kept the tour fun while sharing interesting information along the way. The scenery was beautiful, and the clear kayaks made the experience even more unique. We were lucky enough to catch a gorgeous sunset on the water, which made the whole evening unforgettable. Everything was well organized, and we never felt rushed. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We would absolutely do it again and highly recommend this tour. If you get Jesse as your guide, you’re in for an awesome experience!
It was a lovely adventure, The day was great and our tour guide, Raven, was very knowledgeable about the habitats we visited. I learned a lot.
Great experience! Went for the 12pm tour, the water was calm, our guide Nick was very informative, easy going and quick to point out anything of interest. Learned about mangroves while paddling around and through them. Got to see a horse-shoe crab up close, tons of snails, a number of different types of fish, some sting-rays and couple different crabs! Favorite part was getting to wonder around the beach on the island.
Our tour guide Nick was awesome! He was friendly, very thorough and communicated really well. He very patiently explained the many different animal species we saw while kayaking during our trip, ranging from mangrove and horseshoe crabs, to several different bird species, manatees, stingrays and a host of others, in a way that was thorough, but really easy to understand. Both of our early teen kids commented on how much they learned and that Nick was a really nice guy because he explained things and answered all of their questions so well. The shells at the island were fun to find and the water was beautiful for swimming. When we got back to the dock we saw Raven, who was our guide there when we did this trip 2 years ago, and she remembered our family members by name! We were amazed, and she was as friendly and talkative as she was when we met her 2 years previously. This is our third time with Get up and Go Kayaking and each time staff and the experience have been awesome, seeing and learning new things every time. If you are looking for a way to get your kids away from screens, outside and getting some exercise paddling, hunting for shells or swimming, seriously consider this option. It has worked really well for our family.

From the time we showed up until the very end of our tour, RAVEN, was so informative and helpful. She is very knowledgeable about the environment and the species. She was extremely helpful, courteous and kind. Even suggested a lunch item at Billy’s Stone crab, we ate there and had a wonderful margarita. My family and I had a wonderful trip today! We got to see so much wildlife including sharks, crabs, dolphins, and SO MUCH more! 10/10 experience and our tour guide Raven was awesome!! She was super informative and good energy! Will be coming back to this location and requesting Raven again!
