La tua favolosa escursione VIP di Charme sull'Antica Roma Shore inizierà quando il tuo autista di lingua inglese ti verrà a prendere dalla tua crociera al porto di Civitavecchia e ti condurrà al centro di Roma. In un veicolo Mercedes Benz elegante e confortevole sarai accompagnato alla prima tappa del tuo tour: Colosseo e Foro Romano! Ammira il glorioso Anfiteatro Flavio, uno dei monumenti più notevoli della capitale. Durante l'impero romano il Colosseo romano permise a più di 50.000 persone di godersi i suoi spettacoli più belli. Le esibizioni di animali esotici, le esecuzioni di prigionieri, le ricostruzioni di battaglie e combattimenti di gladiatori hanno intrattenuto per anni il popolo romano.
Prosegui con il tour e raggiungi il Circo Massimo, il più grande stadio dell'Antica Roma, costruito per le corse dei carri. Immagina di prendere parte a una delle gare di corse dei carri del Circo Massimo in cui i partecipanti hanno cercato di completare sette giri del Circo Massimo. I concorrenti, montati su piccoli carri trainati da cavalli, giocavano molto di più del loro prestigio o di grandi premi nelle corse, poiché molti di loro erano schiavi in lotta per la loro libertà.
Il Palatino è uno dei Sette Colli di Roma ed è una delle parti più antiche della città in quanto si erge proprio sopra il Foro Romano e sul Circo Massimo.
Visiterai quindi l'Aventino e godrai della vista del buco della serratura segreto. La vista del buco della serratura si allinea perfettamente con il giardino, centrato sulla Cupola di San Pietro in lontananza. Il portale in questione conduce al Priorato dei Cavalieri di Malta, i leggendari cavalieri crociati!
Naturalmente una volta che avrete visitato il Circo Massimo, non potete perdere l'occasione di ammirare il Campidoglio! È inevitabile che da lì rimarrai affascinato dai panorami mozzafiato del Foro Romano.
La nostra prossima tappa sarà Piazza Venezia, dove si trova l'Altare della Patria! Questo Monumento nazionale è dedicato a Vittorio Emanuele II ed è stato inaugurato nel 1911 in omaggio al primo re d'Italia dopo l'Unità del Paese.
L'incantevole Pantheon è la seguente attrazione da visitare. Situato in Piazza della Rotonda, eretto inizialmente come tempio delle divinità romane, oggi è considerato il monumento dell'antica Roma meglio conservato, e la cosa più interessante è che nessuno è sicuro della sua età. Lasciati impressionare dal suo famoso buco nel tetto, che nelle giornate estive regala uno spettacolo bellissimo all'interno.
Successivamente andremo alla Fontana di Trevi, dove potrai partecipare alla tradizione del lancio delle monete!
Da veri ospiti VIP verrai quindi condotto con autista nella location più glamour di Roma; Piazza di Spagna! Avrai la possibilità di salire la splendida Piazza di Spagna e di avere una vista notevole su Piazza di Spagna.
Mentre sei guidato in Vaticano, goditi la vista di Castel Sant'Angelo è una fortezza situata sulla riva destra del Tevere, a breve distanza dalla Città del Vaticano.
Il Vaticano ti lascerà senza fiato perché la prima cosa che vedrai è una delle piazze più famose del mondo: Piazza San Pietro! Qui, in aggiunta, avrai la possibilità di visitare i Musei Vaticani, che custodiscono capolavori d'arte accumulati dai Papi nel corso della storia, poi potresti anche visitare la sorprendente Cappella Sistina, con il suo famoso soffitto decorato da Michelangelo e infine entrare nella Basilica di San Pietro, le parole non bastano per descrivere la bellezza di questa chiesa!

We had a large group of eight, four adults and four children between the ages of 6 and 9. We had a phenomenal experience with our driver Alex Paolini. He hosted us in Rome and took care of us as if we were family. He coordinated all of the logistics of our day, even purchasing ad hoc tickets for the trevi fountain which was not in our original plan. He was always very clear in his communications and remained calm and patient despite the outside chaos of our day. He upgraded our tour with additional sight seeing, and he also made a lunch reservation for us! We had such a smooth, memorable time in Rome because of Alex! He is exceptional, and so much more than a driver. He was definitely our tour guide. He tracked our cruise ship arrival and was well aware of delays that occurred outside our control. We highly recommend this tour and our driver/guide Alex!!!!!
Alex Paolini was our driver and host for our day trip to Rome. He took care of us upon meeting him at the dock, and gave us great advice and care to get us as close as possible to the sites and back, as it was very hot. He made sure we were comfortable and had lunch planned as our last stop—thoughtfully planned out to ensure we could see all the sights before anyone—specifically kids—could get too tired. Our two families really appreciated all the thoughtful care he put into hosting us today. Thanks so much Alex!
Alex Paolini was absolutely outstanding and made our day in Rome stress-free and unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up promptly at our cruise port, everything was seamless. He took us to all of the must-see sights, including the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and the Vatican, while making sure we stayed on schedule to return to our cruise ship on time. At the same time, he was incredibly flexible and happy to adjust the itinerary based on what our family wanted to see and do. Alex was courteous, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with. Traveling with children can be challenging, but he had excellent recommendations that worked well for our family and helped make the experience fun for everyone. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and accommodating driver for a tour of Rome, I can’t recommend Alex Paolini highly enough. He exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would absolutely book with him again.
Alex Paolini was our driver who picked us up on time from our ship. He was waiting with a great sign and texted us before arrival. His vehicle was clean, comfortable and his English is excellent. He shared information about our location but not too much that we were overwhelmed. We spent the day at Lake Bracciano first at a wine tasting then we wanted to go to the lake to swim and have lunch. He called and reserved our daybeds and lunch table. His communication throughout was excellent and we felt so well taken care of. I couldn’t recommend Alex Paolini any higher. What a great family day in the Roman countryside

Amazing day in Rome. Make sure you book early to get your tickets for attractions. It was 100 degrees when we went and it was still wonderful experience. Stefano was an exceptional driver. Knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole trip easy.
We took an evening tour around Rome with Peter. (Note that TripAdvisor required me to select a tour that did not include the nighttime tour of Rome, so this may not be a perfect match). Peter was right on time and pulled up to our hotel’s front door to pick us up. Peter was born and raised in Rome and knows all the details and the routes to get you around. We were able to see so many beautiful sites during the golden hour and after sunset. Rome is just as stunning all lit up at night as it is during the day. And thanks to Peter, we were able to get a wonderful history of what we were seeing along with those great views. Peter spoke excellent English and was easy to understand. He was very flexible in our route and what we wanted to see, based upon where we had already been during our time in Rome. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Rome after dark. I’ll also note that with the very hot days we experienced, this was a delightful way to see much of Rome in the comfort of a well-appointed and air-conditioned 6 passenger van. Peter even had cold water to keep us hydrated! Maybe our best tour overall in Rome!
