We had a wonderful tour of Sighisoara. Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. He took his time and was very patient with all of our questions. He recommended a restaurant for lunch that was really good.
Terrific walking tour to explore the old town. You can explore on your own but you miss so much. Everything is in the details. We learned so much from our guide Peter that we would have never discovered on our own. He shares historical pictures and pointed out features to go with the stories. His knowledge of art, religion, history, politics and more was unmatched. Highly reccomended.
This was one of the most fascinating tours we’ve taken in Europe. Peter is more than a “guide”. He is a pathway into geographical history, art, and culture. We walked slowly for 3 hours around the Old Town Sighisoara, engaging in all topics(craftsmanship, architecture, communism, farming practices, literature, relic significance, histories, and education). We visited spots in Old Town a tourist would normally miss, its story came alive with his knowledge. We were here in February, 2025. We hardly noticed the cool weather. What a window into the Transylvanian/Romanian/European history! How lucky this region is to have such an academic. This experience changes our trip. Thank you.
Charles was a very nice guide and super knowledgeable. Very thorough tour of the citadel with clear explanations of the history and architecture.
Petre made all the difference for us, his knowledge and stories went beyond Sighişoara, connecting the dots for us to understand the history of the region. He interacted very nice with the kids, through stories and experiences. If you want a really historical and local tour not myths and legends this is the one.
My husband abd i really enjoyed our walking tour of Sighisoara with Peter, our guide. He was very very knowledgeable and gave fantastic insight into this beautiful historic town
Peter is one of the best tour guides in all of Romania! We had a fantastic time learning about the rich history of Transylvania.
Charles is knowledgeable and was a great guy. High-level and detailed explanations were provided. My kid attended the visit. 😊
We had this walk with Charles. A very nice person who told us interesting information about the citadel. Well organized tour with interesting locations visited.

Our tour guide in Sighisoara was Charles and he was an absolute mine of information on the history of this beautiful city. The tour included everything we had hoped to see including the covered steps to the Church on the Hill. If you want to go into the church there is an added charge of 8 lei around 2.00 and this includes being able to take photos inside. We walked through the cemetery Charles will ask if you are ok with this and down the hill past some of the guild towers. I think this was better than going back down via the covered steps. Charles wasn't in a hurry and even extended our tour as we were so interested in the history. Great experience and well worth the cost.
