Il Golden Circle Express Tour è l'ideale per chi è in viaggio d'affari o per un periodo limitato ma desidera comunque visitare alcune delle attrazioni più famose dell'Islanda. Il tour express include le principali attrazioni del famoso percorso del Circolo d'Oro, come il Parco Nazionale di Thingvellir, il sito in cui fu fondato il parlamento islandese nel 930, e la divisione tra le placche tettoniche americana ed eurasiatica. Visiteremo la cascata Gullfoss per goderci il suono dell'acqua che cade e la potenza della cascata. Ci fermiamo quindi nella Valle dei Geyser per vedere l'eruzione dello Strokkur, seguire un sentiero lungo un campo di piccole sorgenti termali e sperimentare l'energia della natura islandese.

Il Parco Nazionale di Thingvellir è noto sia per questioni storiche che geologiche. Da un lato, questo è il luogo in cui si dividono le placche tettoniche americana ed eurasiatica. Dall'altro, è un luogo simbolicamente importante nella storia della formazione della nazione islandese, luogo dell'assemblea nazionale fin dai tempi dei primi coloni dell'era vichinga.
Durante questa sosta, faremo una passeggiata nella piccola valle geotermica di Haukadalur, famosa per le sue sorgenti termali Geysir e Strokkur. Sebbene Geysir sia inattivo oggi, Strokkur, il più grande geyser attivo del paese, erutta ogni 5-10 minuti a un'altitudine di 20-35 metri (60-100 piedi).

What a wonderful tour! For a nice short period of time, learned a lot about Iceland and saw some beautiful waterfalls and geysers. Definitely recommended.

We arranged this tour as we were travelling with our two children, 4 and 8 years old and felt it gave us a little more flexibility, comfort and personalisation. Sergei was a fantastic guide. Before the tour he was happy to exchange a number of emails answering our questions and informing us of what to plan for. The 4x4 minivan is very comfortable and capable. Sergei is endless font of knowledge, not just of the main attractions but general information. Along the way he also offered small stops to see some of the other interesting spots on the route in addition to the 3 main stops which added to the personalisation. Thoroughly recommend!!

We booked a private tour for the Golden Circle and the South Coast combined. It was fantastic. Couldn’t have been more informative, courteous and helpful. It wasn’t cheap. We took another tour the second day with a larger company and a larger group. It was very disappointing compared to the quality of our day with Top Iceland Tour. You get what you pay for is certainly true in this case.
