Mangia come un locale e vivi la Città Eterna come un vero romano in questa avventura unica di cibo e storia con più di 15 degustazioni di cibo e vino gourmet. Un archeologo romano ti Guiderà attraverso le perle nascoste della città durante un “aperitivo a piedi”. Nelle strette vie di Campo de Fiori, inizieremo con un tipico aperitivo romano. Dopo il brindisi, ci immergeremo nel mondo dello street food romano, degustando la pizza "al taglio" in un antico panificio aperto nel 1880 e poi un vero e proprio supplì in una delle ultime friggitoria a conduzione familiare, dove la famiglia lavora dal 1860. Qui abbineremo il supplì con una birra e una sorpresa! Ci trasferiremo poi in un luogo unico: un negozio tradizionale dove una famiglia offre formaggi e salumi prodotti nella propria azienda agricola appena fuori Roma. E ovviamente non c’è aperitivo senza del buon vino! Concluderemo il nostro “aperitivo romano a piedi” con un “tocco dolce” (no spoiler!), nella zona di Piazza Navona, una delle piazze più belle di Roma

Mangia come un locale, sentiti come un romano con noi in questa avventura serale unica, alla scoperta del centro storico di Roma fuori dai soliti percorsi :) Più di 15 degustazioni enogastronomiche, tutte "condite" con la narrazione sulla nostra città, sui segreti della storia e dell'archeologia. Diventeremo amici bevendo il tipico aperitivo romano in un bar storico di proprietà della stessa famiglia da più di 150 anni e ti guiderò come archeologo ed esperto di gastronomia italiana, alla scoperta degli angoli nascosti e delle tracce di 2000 anni di storia. Nelle strade strette di Campo de' Fiori assaggeremo un incredibile cannolo
Avremo un accesso esclusivo all'ultimo negozio di alimentari tradizionale a conduzione familiare della zona, che abbina diversi formaggi e salumi a vino locale Assaggeremo il cibo di strada romano, con la pizza al taglio in un'antica panetteria aperta nel 1880. Poi ci sederemo per cenare in un ristorantino intimo, gustando una tradizionale bruschetta e la migliore carbonara della città, preparata da uno chef stellato.
Concluderemo con un brindisi con limoncello fatto in casa, creato con amore e passione, e con un indimenticabile tiramisù vicino a una delle più belle fontane di Roma :D

We are traveling with another couple and we booked this walking eating tour with Greta. She took us to 4 different small local places for amazing food and drinks. She is an archeologist and history student so she provided us with very interesting information about Rome and Italy as well as the food and drinks. She pointed out meaningful landmarks and architecture. We really enjoyed this experience- would highly recommend!!
We had Gulia (or Gulianna, sorry if I got her name wrong!) who was incredibly friendly and wonderful! Loved that she took us to places we would not have known about as foreigners! Gave a great history and fun facts about the food and the families who ran the places. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome!
This was a well crafted food tour with interesting history along the way as well...Our guide was a well decorated archeologist! We left this tour feeling like we wanted to do a food tour in every city we went to, we can only hope our future guides are as good. Each stop was happy to interact with us as tourists and they were even more thrilled to share their passion for these slightly more niche italian specialties. The Cheese/Meat guy was Fantastic! Make sure you get the pistachio nutella!
Greta was lovely tour guide, so knowledgeable and interesting! Highly recommend taking this tour early in your Roman experience so that you can get a foodie “lay of the land”.
Start your visit to Rome with THIS twilight historical and food tour. A three hour history and gastronomic experience second to none. We learnt such interesting and quirky facts, and tasted food from generational family food stores so ingrained in Roman society they don’t even have the eatery name outside! My advice, book this tour if you are visiting Rome.
This gave a really good understanding of the ingredients in italian cooking and the whole experience of eating the italian way. It was both entertaining and educational at the same time as introducing us to areas of Rome that were new to us. (Probably of less interest to best people beloe age 16.)

On my first night in Rome, I did the Roma Eat Twilight tour, and it got my vacation off to a fabulous start. Our guide was delightful and brimming with enthusiasm for her city. All the food we sampled was amazing, especially the carbonara pasta and the cannoli. After the tour, she sent us a list of dozens of restaurants to try, which I really appreciated!
My first trip to Rome. I am so glad I did this tour. Our guide was so friendly and informative. The stories and information was so addicting to listen to. We had great tasting of so much that Rome and Italy has to offer. What a variety. We visited unique and famous places. We heard background historical stories. So many beautiful sites. The group had good conversations. I went home satisfied with food and drink and talk. A memorable experience!
Thanks to the nice, friendly and superprofessional Chiara we could live a unique experience (pity a little rain ..) of various tastings in the alleys of Rome. Highly recommended!
