Itinerario
Il tour inizierà con un giro al Tempio di Lady Thien Hau. Questo tempio, dedicato alla dea del mare, è uno dei templi più affascinanti e antichi di Chinatown. Thien Hau è la trascrizione vietnamita del nome cinese Tianhou ("imperatrice del cielo"), un epiteto della dea del mare cinese Mazu, la forma divinizzata di Lin Moniang, una ragazza medievale Fujianese accreditata per aver salvato i suoi familiari da danni durante un tifone attraverso il suo potere spirituale.
Dopo aver visitato il tempio, ti rilasserai su un ciclo (pedicab) mentre esplori Chinatown e visiti i negozi locali, dove puoi trovare prodotti cinesi, tra cui erbe medicinali e abbigliamento. Chinatown è una zona affascinante che mostra l'architettura classica cinese che ricorda le epoche passate, completa di numerosi ristoranti cinesi.
Successivamente, visiteremo la chiesa di Cha Tam (chiesa parrocchiale di San Francesco Saverio), la prima chiesa di parrocchiani cattolici nella comunità cinese locale di Ho Chi Minh City.
La nostra ultima tappa è Binh Tay Market, costruito dai francesi negli anni 1880, situato nel cuore del più grande distretto Chinatown del Vietnam.

The guide was great. The down grade from a possible 5 stars was situational. While in the cyclos (more than an hour), there was no communication from the guide since everyone was in a separate cyclo. While the guide did tell us what to expect, the tour would have greatly improved if there was a way for the guide to communicate with us, such as headsets and a microphone for the guide.
We loved this experience! It was good to get out of District 1 and see other parts of the city. China Town in Saigon is not like China Town in other cities! We loved the cyclo tour - it was mixed with some walking and visits to a market and pagoda. We also learned different things about the history and culture of Saigon on this tour than we learned on others. Fascinating and highly recommended!
While there were temples and markets of note, I most enjoyed the myriad streets and lanes and the life that is on display there.
Very Interesting trip in district 5 china town .. cyclo was an experience.. would recommend just so you can see the difference between the districts
I was nervous at first about traveling through the city traffic but our drivers and guide were so skilled at manoeuvring amongst the crowds that I quickly relaxed. This was the best fun and most insightful tour. We chose the China town option and just loved it.

<p>Very enjoyable experience. The tour guide Anh was great. She picked us up at the hotel on time and my husband and I had such a fun time riding the cyclo around Chinatown areas. if you'd like to ride on the Cyclo but do not want to deal with Cyclo Scam use this tour.</p>
