Trip was amazing. Could not fault anything about the whole day. Julio was full of knowledge and so funny. A highlight of my Cancun trip.
Hello, thank you for your comments, we are glad you had a good experience with us, we hope we have the opportunity to attend you in future visits.
Honestly this entire experience was a tourist trap. By the time we got to chichen itza, I had already lost the zeal and enthusiasm I started the day with. I will naturally give it 1 star but for the guide who seem to have a lot of genuine desire to speak about the Mayans. The first stop was at a cenote where people could swim. It was impossible to even see the cenote without paying for a jacket (not the tours guides fault but ridiculous nonetheless). Second stop was a "Mayan village" which turned out to be nothing more than a huge tourist trap to get people to spend money. This was really ridiculous and at every point you could see the whole thing was about extracting as much from tourists as possible. The prices of the artifacts were totally ridiculous, the lunch afterwards was a joke and I was certain I'll end up with a running stomach (which eventually happened). They wanted "tips" for nothing! The most ridiculous one was some lads saying "photo for tips" with the mayan warriors. This was no Mayan village, it was a clear tourist trap establishment. At the end of it all, on our way to the chichen itza, we encountered another sales pitch on the bus. At the mayan village during our arrival, the tour guide said we'll be taking group photos et al, little did we know that it was for them to print and put on a mini bottle of tequila that they wanted to sell for 500 pesos. I read the reviews and thought surely that couldn't be, but alas, I was wrong and should have heeded the warning. I strongly advice you to avoid these types of tours
Hello, we are sorry the tour didn't fulfill your expectations, as you mentioned there are different souvenirs that can be brought during the day but all of them are optionals. We take your comments to continue improving our service.
Did the experience as a solo female traveller.. our tour guide, Freddie gave the most educational, respectful, immersive tour, came away from the tour understanding so much more about the Mayan history and culture.
Great tour great price. Everything as advertised and on time. Guide Xiomara was very knowledgeable and there was so much interesting info, lovely food and amazing people. January 2026, at cenote is 6USD for mandatory life jacket and 6USD for locker that you can share with more people. Plenty of nice food at the buffet and drinks are like 5/7USD. We did Valladolid, Cenote, lunch and Chechen itza, in this order. Theres a huge souvenir shop where lunch is and nobody pressures you to buy anything. Was all very smooth. Totally recommend it!
We had so much fun visiting all those places, Chichen Itza is so special and beautiful. Also, Juan (our guide) was really nice and kind! It was a wonderful experience!
It didn't excite me very much, it seemed to be in a Point of Sale, beautiful the first pyramid but otherwise no effect wow. if you have to go go early in the morning or it's too hot and there are too many people
Muchas gracias por sus comentarios, los tomaremos en cuenta para continuar mejorando nuestro servicio
They were punctual and attentive. The tour was incredible, the only observation, we arrived at a time when the sun was very strong, before the tour I asked for guidance on what to take and I didn't have the necessary guidance, about sun protection, wearing a hat and so on. And there are costs for using cameras. I recommend the agency.
Muchas gracias por sus comentarios, esperamos poder volver a atendernos en su próxima visita.
Very sticky bus, lunch was free, but you need to pay even water. Took super long to pick up people, only spent 1 hour denote, 2 hour chichin itza, 25min the city
Thank you for your comments there are very important for us, the times you mention are the same times in our itinerary, unfortunately our tour includes the lunch buts as the description mention the drinks are not included.
Hot wear hat and bring water. Simon was very knowledgeable about the place and very passionate about saving the remaining structures
Thanks you for your comments, we are glad you enjoyed our tour.
Both guides were great. But the trip took 14 hours and we got back so late we could barely get dinner. The experience felt very long, long, unnecessary waits to get lunch so that we would buy more, long waits to check in in the morning etc. They told us we owed 38$ USD a person (which was accurate) but wouldn't accept USD and charged us an exchange of 45$ if we paid in Mex pesos or another upcharge if we used a credit card. Would definitely recommend just taking the public bus instead of a tour. Much cheaper, less waiting and the buses run really efficiently, are safe and incredibly comfortable.
Thank you for your comments, unfortunately the payments on credit card can only be made in Mexican pesos and the exchange rate can vary depending on the bank.
