La sorgente termale di Mae Khachan è la sorgente termale naturale più conosciuta dai viaggiatori che viaggiano sulla rotta Chiang Mai-Chiang Rai, dove è possibile immergersi nell'acqua minerale e rilassarsi. Wat Rong Khun “Il Tempio Bianco” di Chiang Rai. Wat Rong Khun, meglio conosciuto come “il Tempio Bianco” è uno dei templi più riconoscibili della Thailandia. Il tempio fuori dalla città di Chiang Rai attira un gran numero di visitatori, sia tailandesi che stranieri, rendendolo una delle attrazioni più visitate di Chiang Rai. Wat Rong Khun è un tempio unico che risalta per il colore bianco e l'uso di pezzi di vetro nell'intonaco, scintillanti al sole.
Wat Rong Suea Ten “Il Tempio Blu” di Chiang Rai. Wat Rong Suea Ten, meglio conosciuto come Tempio Blu, è un tempio buddista che si distingue dagli altri per il suo colore blu zaffiro. Non è un tempio attivo, nessun monaco vive qui. È sorprendente, dipinto in un blu accattivante con sovrapposizioni di abbellimenti dorati. Il fulcro all'interno della grande sala è un'enorme statua di un Buddha bianco in posizione seduta circondato da arte buddista contemporanea in stile moderno.
A Wat Huay Pla Kang, i viaggiatori visiteranno uno dei complessi di templi più impressionanti e visivamente suggestivi di Chiang Rai. We had a wonderful day exploring Chiang Rai, and this tour exceeded our expectations. Every stop was unique—from soaking our feet at Mae Kachan Hot Springs to seeing the incredible White Temple, Blue Temple, and the stunning Guanyin statue at Wat Huay Pla Kang. It was a full day, but it never felt rushed. Our guide, Nancy, was fantastic. She was warm, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and shared interesting history and cultural insights throughout the trip. She kept everything well organized while making the day feel relaxed and enjoyable. A special thanks as well to our driver, Hero, who was friendly, professional, and made us feel completely safe on the long drive. The vehicle was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. Excellent tour if you are in Chiang Mai for a few days and want to see the temples in Chiang Rai. The tour was good and they shared the history of each one with us, we also had lunch at a local place to learn more about their culture.
