Itinerario
Prelievo dal tuo hotel nella zona della Città Vecchia/Nimman di Chiang Mai e poi diretto a Chiang Rai. Dopo il trasporto, circa 50 minuti, arriverai alla sorgente termale di Mae Khachan.
Una delle poche sorgenti termali naturali nel nord della Thailandia, la sorgente termale di Mae Kachan (Mae Ka Chan è così calda - raggiunge temperature di 90 °C - può far bollire un uovo in pochi minuti, un'impresa che i locali sono più che felice di dimostrarlo. Le sorgenti termali sono troppo calde per fare il bagno. Puoi immergere i piedi solo brevemente.
Wat Rong Khun, forse più noto agli stranieri come il Tempio Bianco, è una mostra d'arte di proprietà privata nello stile di un tempio buddista nella provincia di Chiang Rai, in Thailandia. È di proprietà di Chalermchai Kositpipat, che lo ha progettato, costruito e aperto ai visitatori nel 1997.
Monumentale e moderno tempio buddista caratterizzato da una vivida colorazione blu e da elaborati intagli.

(Seleziona) Scopri Wat Huay Pla Kang, sede di un'imponente statua di Guan Yin, una pagoda rossa vivace ed eleganti sale del tempio. Sali sull'ascensore all'interno della statua, ammira dettagli intricati e ammira le viste panoramiche sulla campagna circostante di Chiang Rai.
Ritorno a Chiang Mai. Ci vorranno circa 3 ore dalle 20:30 alle 21:00. Arriverai a Chiang Mai e raggiungerai il tuo hotel in tutta sicurezza.
Visita facoltativa alla tribù Karen dal collo lungo (ingresso 300 THB/PAX). Un villaggio tribale le cui donne indossano anelli di ottone impilati al collo e vendono artigianato fatto a mano. Per coloro che non visitano Karen Long-neck Village, la guida del tour ti chiederà di aspettare gli altri per circa 1 ora. Puoi trascorrere il tuo tempo al mercato vicino.

- Per visitare il tempio di Wat Rong Khun, devi onorare il luogo vestendoti con un codice di abbigliamento casual (o meglio). Niente scarpe con pinne (scarpe da ginnastica, scarpe sportive o scarpe tagliate vanno bene), niente canotta (la maglietta va bene), niente pantaloni corti (un paio di jeans lunghi va bene)
- Puoi scegliere di finire il programma al Central Plaza di Chiang Rai per rimanere lì, ma la tua borsa dovrebbe essere piccola
- Tieni presente che Chiang Rai è lontana da Chiang Mai, quindi questo viaggio prevede un lungo viaggio in minivan. La durata del viaggio può raggiungere un massimo di 13-14 ore, a seconda del traffico lungo il percorso e delle condizioni della strada.

Degraded gardens, found it very dirty, plants kept very poorly, parks with too many uncollected leaves, staff barely present, bad experience, better your own vegetable garden
Despite the very long car trips, the visit is worth it, especially the white temple. The day is quite intense but is organized with the right breaks.
They did not take us to the Black House or the Red Temple; it was a very long trip to visit only two temples. The vehicle was not comfortable at all; it is a journey of more than 3 hours, and you end up very tired at night. The driver drove terribly.

Our tour guide was the BEST! We loved the tour. One thing though — we would have loved more time at the White Temple because it is pretty big, and 45 minutes wasn’t quite enough time to explore everything. Other than that, we absolutely loved the full-day trip. This is a MUST-do!

We took this trip for one day from Chiang Mai to visit the temples from Chiang Rai. The temples are very beautiful and the guide's english was very good. I truly recommend the tour.

Great transportation, the tour guide woman gave us good history, kept us on time, and worth the money and time. The lunch was delicious and you can eat as much as you can. The coconut chicken soup outstanding. The temples are beautiful and we will be back . The trip was for educational purposes and we will bring our students next time.
