Questa passeggiata ti permetterà di avere un'eccellente panoramica di Rio sfogliando il suo Centro Storico dove si mescolano chiese barocche, edifici coloniali ed edifici moderni perché è anche il centro degli affari di Rio e il quartiere la bohémien Santa Teresa accedendovi con il famoso tram giallo e poi camminando al tuo ritmo.

Presentazione della piazza con le sue principali attrazioni come il Teatro Municipal (il teatro dell'opera di Rio), il Museu das Bellas Artes, La Camara Municipal, La Biblioteca Nacional, Le Teatro Odeon (l'unico cinema della piazza ancora in funzione)
Entriamo nella Cattedrale per presentare la sua architettura, la sua storia, le sue monumentali vetrate colorate
Passiamo da Largo Carioca per presentarvi la chiesa di Sao Antonio e Sao Francisco da Penitencia, una delle chiese barocche più belle del Brasile e la vista panoramica dalla terrazza di queste due chiese che si trovano una accanto all'altra.
Attraversiamo le strade pedonali della vecchia Rio per raggiungere questo luogo che è uno dei caffè più antichi di Rio con il suo stile art deco che lo rende un luogo iconico nel Centro
Continuiamo il nostro viaggio per arrivare al luogo del 15 novembre (proclamazione della Repubblica) per presentarvi la Chiesa di Nostra Signora dei Carmelitani, il Paço Imperial, la Statua equestre del generale Osorio, l'isola delle tasse e il molo dei traghetti che serve Niteroi e Paqueta Island nella baia di Guanabara
Raggiungiamo quindi la piazza Pie X per le strade pedonali per mostrarti la chiesa Candélaria, il viale olimpico, il CentrO Cultural do Banco do Brasil e la casa França Brasil
E continuiamo la nostra passeggiata verso il monastero di Saint Benoit, che è una delle chiese più belle di Rio per visitarla e raccontarvi la sua storia.
Questa piazza è un luogo culturale importante perché c'è il Museu de Amanha (Museo di domani) che non visitiamo ma che è architettonicamente molto interessante, nonché il Museo d'Arte di Rio con la sua terrazza panoramica all'ultimo piano che ti permette di avere un'incredibile vista sulla piazza Maua, sul ponte Niteroi, sul Museo di domani ...
Questo murale, che è considerato il più grande del mondo, rappresenta 5 gruppi etnici ed è stato prodotto da Eduardo Kobra per i Giochi Olimpici
Ritorneremo quindi alla stazione del tram di Santa Teresa per prendere la famosa Bonde gialla (tram) per raggiungere il quartiere di Santa Teresa. È una passeggiata panoramica di trenta minuti piena di fascino.
Passeggia a piedi e nei dintorni di Largo dos Guimaraes nel cuore di Santa Teresa per scoprire le sue case dalla fine del XIX, all'inizio del XX, bei panorami, ristoranti e bar che rendono famoso questo quartiere.
Il punto iconico di Santa Teresa, ex casa di Laurinda Santos Lobo trasformato in un gazebo con un'incredibile vista sul Centro, gli Archi di Lapa, Cristo e Botafogo
Lasciando Santa Teresa per andare a Lapa ai piedi della collina, passeremo accanto alla famosa scala multicolore di George Selaron, artista cileno che lo ha creato in circa venti anni.
Continueremo a passeggiare ammirando i molteplici graffiti che decorano le pareti di questo quartiere per raggiungere gli archi di Lapa, l'antico acquedotto di Rio risalente al XVIII secolo e che fornisce acqua alla città di Rio fino alla fine del XIX. Il tram da passa attraverso l'acquedotto per accedere a Santa Teresa

My memorable memories: the view from Pedra Bonita, the visit to the Favela that breaks the cliché of the Favelas and the entrance to the cathedral striking with emotion. To organize our stay in Rio de Janeiro as part of a first discovery of Brazil of 15 days, we went through the agency Good Guide in Rio. We made 3 days of visits with this agency. Our guide Philippe was great, he really wants to please his visitors. It adapts to demands and desires. It is interesting to take 2/3 days of visit in order to adapt to the weather (it happened to us) Philip changed our visit to Christ to ensure good weather..... We discovered Marta’s favela with Marco with great kindness and a big smile. Behind the scenes of the carnival are also a great visit. The last day in Petropolis is a change of scenery advised on Sunday. We recommend this agency to the top!!!!

We took a tour of the Centro district with Edmundo Montalvo, and it was absolutely fantastic! He is maybe the best guide we’ve ever had. So knowledgeable, intelligent, took us to see everything, including the cathedral, the famous steps, the trolley up to Santa Teresa, and more. Very sensitive and informative. We also had coffee at the oldest coffee house in Rio. I strongly recommend that you try to take a tour with Edmundo Montalba, whether it is the central tour or one of the other ones he does. He is really great!
