The guide was warm and welcoming, sharing plenty of insights about the area that weren’t in the guidebook. She answered all my questions clearly and accurately. The café had a stylish atmosphere, and I’d love to go back again. Lunch at the restaurant with its stunning view was absolutely delicious. The surroundings were truly Instagrammable, making the whole experience even more memorable.
Uma was insightful with her tour and pace for the two of us. She had us enjoy some delightful snacks and a wonderful lunch. We loved her local knowledge of history and background. We would highly recommend her for all Bangkok travelers.
Stroll through Talat Noi, Song Wat and Yawarath with lots of murals and old buildings. It was a fulfilling tour, with stylish cafes, street food sweets, and even a river view lunch and dessert. It was also impressive to see the friendly, cheerful and attentive guide who gave a thorough introduction to the history and culture of the area as he walked through the old streets. It was a very enjoyable time, not only because it was photogenic, but also because I could feel the old charm and life of Bangkok.
My tour guide, Pond, was wonderful! She was knowledgeable in the areas we visited, providing insights from a local perspective and included a stop at a unique coffee shop and provided delicious snacks from street food stands. Pond was personable, making it a fun tour. I would highly recommend this tour and request Pond if you can!

Very thorough and enjoyable tour of Talat Noi and hidden areas near Chinatown. Our tour guide Yu was great too! I highly recommend this tour! A great day for all.
Even as a local, there are always hidden spots I haven’t explored. This tour gave me a wonderful opportunity to do just that. I got to enjoy a cozy little café tucked away in a small alley and wander through hip streets like Talad Noi and Songwat. The vibe was awesome, and P’Yu (our guide) ans N’ Kaojao were so kind—they always took good care of us. Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed this Old Town Bangkok walking tour. The meetup time was 9:30 AM, and although I arrived about 10 minutes late, they still waited for me, which I really appreciated. 🙏🏻 We met at Hua Lamphong Railway Station and started the tour at a coffee shop nearby called Recordoffee. As someone who collects vinyl records, I honestly did not expect the café we were visiting to have such a great vinyl collection. You can request songs to be played, and they played my request while we were there. Coffee was included in the tour and was really good. We also got to meet the owner, who was very friendly. We then walked to Talat Noi, which was the highlight of the tour for me. It is an old area that has been revived through art, so you get to see street art, traditional Thai architecture, small cafés, and a Chinese shrine. I have visited Talat Noi before on my own, but having a local English speaking guide made a big difference. She shared stories and details about the area that I would not have known otherwise and was very open to questions. We also tried some local snacks along the way. After Talat Noi, we continued walking to Song Wat. One thing I really appreciated about having a guide was that she knew all the shortcuts. I have visited this area before without a guide and ended up walking much farther than necessary. Our first stop in Song Wat was a local restaurant by the river. Lunch was included in the tour and the view of the Chao Phraya River was really nice. We then walked along Song Wat Road and stopped by a local store that sells a curated collection of items from different provinces around Thailand (around 70+ if I remember correctly). It is a great place for ceramics, accessories, and unique souvenirs. We also stopped by a popular ice cream shop hidden in the alleys of Song Wat Road. I ordered chocolate ice cream with chestnuts, and the owner even gave us free bananas when we visited. From there, we walked through hidden paths going toward Chinatown, where we tried another local Thai dessert. I could not finish mine because I was already very full, but it was still good. We then walked along Yaowarat Road before ending the tour with a tuk tuk ride back to the meeting area. It was my first time riding a tuk tuk, and since these can be expensive in tourist areas, it was nice that this was already included. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to explore Old Town Bangkok in a more relaxed and meaningful way. Being in a small group, there were only three of us (not including the guide), made the experience feel very personal and not rushed. Having a local guide also meant not constantly relying on Google Maps or translation apps, which made the whole experience more immersive. Thank you so much to Magical Trip! Looking forward to joining your tours again during my next visit 😊
