Budapest beautiful at night. But should have done cruise without dinner! Food was not good, appetizer was a salad that looked very old, not at all fresh. Soup was cold. Mains were also cold and not great. Bar service very slow. Overall we were very dissapointed in dinner.
We had an excellent experience. Easy to find the lication. The music was lovely. They had singing and dance performances. Very lively and participation was also encouraged. Food was good. Views from the water at night was spectacular! Great for pictures!
A really great evening. Excellent food, beautifully served, with good entertainment and a nice atmosphere. We had experienced a similar dinner cruise with another provider 3 years ago but this one was cheaper than theirs this year so we booked it, although a little apprehensively because our previous experience was outstanding and we were not sure this would match up. We were not disappointed. The four course meal was as good as any you would find in a good restaurant, with a good range of options, and was impeccably served by waitresses who were friendly and professional. The boat was almost full but did not feel overcrowded. The local Hungarian music and dancing was well performed and created a good party atmosphere without dominating the evening. Budapest from the river at night is beautiful and the cruise is long enough to enjoy it. As for value for money, it was very good. It would have had 5 stars for value except that we were offered, and purchased, a window table at an extra cost on arrival and it would have been better to have this option at the point of booking. A great experience we would heartily recommend.
We really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was very good, apart from the starter which was meant to be a pear salad but they had forgotten to put the pears in, just bits of dry bread and rocket leaves. However, we would still recommend it, the entertainment was super and cruising down the river with all the buildings lit up was wonderful!
Food was terrible. And only one beverage included. It’s not worth the money just take the 2 15.00 boat rides if you want to see the view. This was not worth it in my opinion.
The boat was nice but there were purple lines in our pictures unless we hung our phones out the window. The food was not very good. Goose liver pate? Pork loin was served between 3 layers of some kind of biscuit? The walnut encrusted cod was not walnut encrusted. The best part was the entertainment. The lower level looked way more fun though!
First night in Budapest. Great way to get an overview of the Danube area. Food was delicious and entertainment was such fun.
Enjoyable experience let down by a terrible food experience. Crew/boat staff, traditional musicians, singer and dancers were excellent. The experience was very relaxed and very enjoyable just let down by a disappointingly meal.
The cruise trip was lovely. Very nice food and excellent service. Slight confusion with the start time, was emailed 6pm but it was in fact 7pm. Would recommend, the views are amazing all lit up.
Cozy table by the window with a good view and generous distance to the next table, very friendly, fast, and helpful service team, good dinner, background music, and folk dance, everything was as promised: a beautiful evening - we were satisfied (written by a married couple with their granddaughter from Pforzheim)
