I think if you have kids, this is a fun trip. I was never offered drinks other than the one when we boarded. After that, I was finally asked about 15 minutes into the ride, and then never received it. I was sitting towards the back near the bar but I felt with all the pirates walking around, it made it a little hard to get up to go to the bar yourself. I think they preferred that the passengers stayed put. The food was like eating at a Luby's but with way less quality and a little cold. I even found the bread a little stale. As for the show itself, it was very entertaining once dinner was done and the sun set. They are extremely athletic and acrobatic making it enjoyable as they flipped around and came down from up high. Even the MC Alexandra (?) had so much positive energy and was fun.
We were initially a little wary because some negative reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good. The drinks ok. The views were amazing. The show was exhilarating. A little pricey perhaps but we think worth it. They also give you option for transportation. We recommend it as it made the process very simple. Our only complaint, if we can call it that, is that it gets a little crowded on the boat and I think some places make the show harder to watch. Nothing too terrible though.
We enjoyed the experience, dinner was great, the pirate show was a combination of acrobatics, fire dancing breakdancing and sword fighting. Highly recommend as a night out to see the Arch, enjoy the sunset and have some lovely views.
A really fun experience and worth the price of admission. It was about $100 a person, but with it you got basically all you wanted to drink plus all you wanted to eat, and the food was pretty darn good. You also got a really cool show put on by the crew who did acrobatics and fake sword fighting with flaming swords and sticks, which was very entertaining. Furthermore, the female guide spoke excellent Spanish and English and would immediately repeat everything in both languages so that all could understand. The boat was pretty full and this group probably made a lot of money, but it was a fun experience and would recommend it at least once to anyone. Of course, we went out to the Rocket Gateway at the end of Cabo. Can't remember what it's called, but everybody knows what I'm talking about. Got some great pictures there and ate a good meal. And saw a great show. A very rewarding experience.
I did this event a couple of years ago, so we knew what to expect. We were as pleased with the meal and show as before. I am physically challenged, so we boarded first, which was a relief. They had the whole boat dancing at the end. It was a great time.
To tell the truth, of all the ships I have been on, this one has been the worst of all; the food is terrible, the drinks are worse, there is no variety, the service is the worst, and it is even worse that they ask you for a tip amount when they do not even give you any attention. I am a tipper, but not with those types of people. The ship lacks everything. Without a doubt, I would not go back, much less recommend it.
Staff were super friendly, food and drinks onboard were good, and the show was pretty amazing. Definitely recommend it.
This show was the greatest entertainment experience I've seen in Cabo! The music was excellent! The lights and energy was top notch. The food and drinks are plentiful and delicious. The actors can immerse the crowd in the show! Then we all dance afterwards! The crew is extremely attentive. Even the bathrooms are clean!! 5 star experience!
Great fun, really top class performance. We were expecting some fun pirate antics, but had professional acrobatics that were beyond expectations
The meeting point is about as far as you can get in the marina, so take a water taxi or prepare to walk a bit! We had a really good time. Didn't get the VIP upgrade offered and honestly didn't feel like we missed out on anything. There are two pirate ships, we were on the Buccaneer Queen. The entertainers were wonderful and engaging. Drinks were free flowing. You eat dinner on your lap while hanging on while the ship moves around so prepare for that. My son and I (and others) got a little seasick, so we didn't eat much. The actual show after dark was very entertaining! Be prepared to offer a tip at the end. We had fun, but its a one and done for us.
