The cave canoeing was amazing! We got picked up from the hotel and driven to the driver. There, we learned some history and boarded the canoes. As beginner paddlers, it was a little wobbly and stressful at times, but Marvin was a great guide!! Just a warning, the ride there is unpaved, so if you are motion sick, beware. Otherwise, a great time and super unique adventure!
We had a nice time cave canoeing. We did the half day tour (snacks were provided). Our guide Romme was awesome. He was very knowledge about the Mayan culture and history. The whole thing was very relaxing and peaceful .
Our guide Rudy was so kind and knowledgeable, he had the most soothing voice while sharing stories about the cave. Inside the cave was peaceful and beautiful, not to mention really cool temperature wise. A nice retreat from the May heat and humidity. We were the only canoe in the cave this afternoon vs. 20 in the morning we were told. It felt very special. 5 stars for Rudy and this experience!!
We had a wonderful time with Rommel! He was a great guide. The canoe in the cave was interesting, the lunch was tasty and we enjoyed a beautiful swim and scenery at Big Rock afterwards.
The guides were very knowledgeable, the cave was amazing and lunch was tasty! Well worth it!
I would give this trip 6 stars, if I could! Rommel was a fantastic guide in every sense. Very professional, knowledgeable, and funny. The cave canoeing was outstanding. Impossible to put into words the experience and something you need to simply experience yourself! In addition, the traditional Belizean lunch they served was phenomenal! Food was so good and we want to send much love to the cooks who prepared it.
Nice half day tour of the caves. Informative. Not physically strenuous as only one person paddles for the canoe.
This tour was a very fun and relaxing experience. Our tour guide Rommel was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The cave is amazing and beautiful. If you are looking for a slow paced, easy activity, I highly recommend this excursion.
Great experience if you like stalactites, and other showy rock formations. Paddling through a cave with headlamps was fun.
Mystical and magical. Felt like a little slice of another world. Definitely worth the trip. Would recommend!!
