Catamarano Alghero, Catamaran Sailing Day Trip

This was a real highlight of our holiday! It’s a bit more expensive than some other sailing day options, but worth it because there’s plenty of room to spread out and relax on the boat. Max was the perfect host. Not only did he sail the boat single-handed (with a little help from the autopilot!) he prepared the most impressive food and kept us entertained. The only minor downside is that we struggled to find the meeting point (may be the directions could be made a little clearer on Viator?) so were a little stressed, but soon recovered and enjoyed a very relaxing day.

Captain Max was warm and welcoming from the moment he greeted us. Not only that, he was an excellent cook and an even better sailer, I felt safe the entire time. With his paddle board, snorkel gear and beautiful boat, it’s hard not to have a great time. Highly recommend seeing Sardinia from the water with this tour- it was a day I’ll never forget!

This was one of the best day excursions I have ever done. From the moment we boarded the boat until we debarked, Max our captain took care of everything. He was a safe and hospitable captain and a fabulous chef. He stopped four or five times to allow us to swim and cool off. He fed us a delicious lunch of shrimp in a red sauce with pasta and a pesto dish. The boat was in excellent condition and had lots of amenities like snorkeling equipment and floats for the water. I would recommend this day trip 10/10!!!

It was a lovely day, well taken care of. A nice guide..catamaran was fine, 1 disadvantage that if you did not know where the berths were you had to sit or stand all day..my suggestion rotate with the passengers because everyone is entitled to a berth for the boat. The food and drink was perfect.

From the moment we stepped aboard, Max made sure everyone was comfortable, relaxed, and having a great time. His friendliness, professionalism, and passion for what he does were evident throughout the entire trip. The sailing route was spectacular, with breathtaking views of Capo Caccia, crystal-clear waters, and beautiful swimming spots that felt straight out of a postcard. Every stop seemed better than the last. To make the experience even more special, Max personally prepared lunch for us on board, featuring delicious local products and accompanied by excellent wine. It felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with friends who happen to know the most beautiful corners of Sardinia. The combination of stunning scenery, great food, fantastic wine, and genuine hospitality made this one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re considering a catamaran excursion in Alghero, don’t hesitate -this is an experience you’ll remember long after you’ve returned home. A huge thank you to Max for an unforgettable day.

Solo travel. The 7ish hour boat ride was amazing. Random group of under 10 persons on board. Well worth the money, which I felt was a low cost, and to be out on the water- three swimming holes to stop and swim/cool off. Beautiful landscape. I will be rebooking later in the summer. Food was amazing and the hospitality was on point.

Simply a fantastic experience! The catamaran ride was relaxing and at the same time exciting, with spectacular flavors and a wonderful sea. The crew was kind, helpful, and very professional. Everything was well organized and attended to in detail. An experience that I absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to experience the sea in a special way! Great job, Max.

We spent the Most Amazing day with Max on this Beautiful Catamaran. The entire experience was absolutely Superb. The swim stops ,The lunch and above all the care and attention delivered by our Skipper Max . I would definitely recommend this Wonderful day on the Sea
