Itinerario
Il viaggio inizierà con il ritiro presso il tuo hotel a Zagabria e proseguirà verso nord. Dopo un piacevole viaggio attraverso la bellissima campagna raggiungeremo Trakoscan, il castello croato più famoso e meglio conservato. Il castello fu costruito per la prima volta alla fine del XIII o all'inizio del XIV secolo come piccola fortezza difensiva. Il complesso di Trakošćan che abbiamo oggi, una sinergia romantica di architettura e natura, è il risultato del XIX secolo. Il castello fu ricostruito in stile neogotico e il paesaggio circostante, compreso un lago, emerse sul modello del parco all'inglese. Vedrai una preziosa collezione di dipinti, mobili e armi e ti divertirai a passeggiare nei pittoreschi dintorni del castello.
Dopo il castello esplorerete la tradizione secolare della viticoltura e della vinificazione a "Vuglec Breg". Una visita in cantina è un'esperienza speciale per ogni ospite e il piacere della degustazione porterà un sorriso di gioia sulle labbra di ogni appassionato di vino. Dopo la degustazione di vini potrete pranzare in un ristorante tradizionale che serve prodotti stagionali e fatti in casa della regione di Zagorje (il pranzo è facoltativo).

We had a really great day with Tom. Was about an hour drive to the Castle and he pointed out many sights along the way. The castle was an amazing sight to see. After this we traveled to a fabulous winery where we had a light lunch, cheese tray and wonderful wines. The home made bread with pumpkin oil was sooooo good. I highly recommend this tour with Tom.
Our guide/driver Luca was very personable. Trakascan Castle had an interactive AI that was fun and our wine tasting at Vuglic Breg was excellent!!!!
Tomas was a wonderful guide, and made arrangements for a tour of the wine cellar. Wonderful experience!

We had a marvelous day with Tomislav, he was on time to pick us up from the hotel. Very knowledgeable about the sights and such a great person to be with all day. We felt like we made a new friend in Croatia. He even helped us with dinner suggestions and reservations for that evening. We will always remember him as a friend in Croatia not just a guide.

First of all our driver, Tom was punctual and spoke great English! Trakošćan Castle is beautiful and ticket is included in the price. Also the wine tasting is awesome, if you're into this type of entertainment! My negative experience was with the second castle. It is pretty and has a lot of history but it is owned by a mean rich beggar. Imagine Ebenezer Scrooge -in female form. She is so rich, she owns a castle and things that cost hundreds of thousands -if not millions- and plays it poor. If you are weak, you will end up paying her for her lies. And you will also be encouraged by the driver to give her money (that is not TAXED as she gives no receipt for donations!!!) - which makes the entire experience worse. I would advise the agency to keep the Trakošćan and wine tasting experience and avoid the tourist scam lady.

We agree the owner of the second castle is a special lady but the castle is included in the itinerary as we consider it worth visiting for its history and personalized experience. Our guide points out that the agency makes a donation for every visit and your donation is completely up to you. We are sorry you weren't completely satisfied with the tour and we appreciate you sharing your experience. To avoid any other of our guests feeling the way you did, we've changed the itinerary a bit and included another beautiful castle instead.
We had a fantastic experience on this tour! The castles were beautiful and interesting. The wine tasting and visit to the vineyard was fun and we thought the value for the experience was top notch. Tomislav was a friendly and knowledgable driver; we had a great time with him!
