Visita la ferrovia di Al Hijaz conosciuta in passato come ferrovia ferroviaria Berlino - Bagdad costruita nel 1902 dall'Impero Ottomano con l'aiuto dei loro alleati tedeschi in quel momento.
Procedi lungo la Kings Highway, conosciuta come la Via della Seta per il commercio di seta, spezie e profumi per arrivare a Karak, e sali al massiccio castello in cima alla collina, costruito dai crociati tra il 1110 e il 1143 a.C. Uno di una catena di difese crociate tra Gerusalemme e Aqaba. Karak resistette agli attacchi degli eserciti di Saladino nel 1180 prima di soccombere nel 1189. Amazing castles a must see. But the drive is very long. Our driver was great. Made our trip very knowledgeable and stopped a few times to show us amazing views

Fabulous driver and fabulous castles!! Definitely worth the long drive to experience such history. Lunch was also super yummy.

As someone interested in the history of the region this tour was an amazing experience for me. What really made the trip exceptional was being lucky enough to be assigned Hasan as my driver and guide. <p>Great trip - the castles are well worth visiting. Our driver added on St Stephen's Church which made the day. I highly recommend asking if you can add this on as you will be passing. The mosaics are amazing! They rival those at Madaba. It is a long day with a lot of driving. Shobak is a long way south but we thought is was worth the time. Karak is great - you can spend a lot of time in the ruins and the view is fabulous. Our driver kept us supplied with yummy Turkish coffee from roadside vendors and made sure we had the best of Jordanian food for lunch yum. Highly recommend</p>
