Great 2 hour trip to Godafoss water fall. Our guide Niels from Soleil de Minuit was well informed, entertaining and funny.
Great trip out to the waterfall. Waterfall was easily accessible. Nice to have a little coffee and snack. All in all, a well run tour. There were cheaper options (and more expensive ones) but I am glad we picked this tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and nice and answered many questions.
The guide provided very interesting background folklore/history and the falls are beautiful. The distance to them was significant for the bus ride.
Emma, our guide, made sure we enjoyed the experience and made the most of our time. Highly recommended. The driver, Johnny, was also great.
Wonderful experience, great Tour guide. Nice extra to have coffee after with donuts. Would definitely recommend.
Spectacular as waterfalls go but no Niagara Falls or Victoria Falls. Good pathways and viewing areas but tour only allowed 20 minutes so had to hustle. Long drive from Akureyri cruise port.
We enjoyed our trip to the waterfall. The tour guide/driver shared interesting information throughout the drive. Stopping for coffee+a snacks was a nice break on our way back. We had a beautiful sunny day an experience that was well worth our time.
Great excursion with Saga Tours, booked thru Viator. Great price. Company responded quickly to my questions to clarify meeting point, which was appreciated. Driver was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. An hour at the falls goes by quickly. Most people walk on the left side of falls. I’d suggest walking along right side of falls… great view and way less people. Walking paths are good. You do have time to do both, if you keep moving. Included in trip was a cup of coffee and a local sweet at the hotel, very nice. Clean bathrooms. (no fee). Bus gave option to drop off at the town centre on way back to pier, which was nice.
Well arranged from start to finish. The bus was comfortable and on arrival coffee, tea and a treat were offered. There was also plenty of opportunity to use the toilet quietly. At the falls we got ample time to see everything at our leisure. A well organized and relaxing excursion that I can definitely recommend!
Hilmar was a great guide and the waterfall was beautiful. Dress warm!
