A circa un'ora da Hua Hin si trova Pala-U, una bellissima cascata con 16 livelli. Pala-U si trova nel Parco Nazionale Kaeng Krachan, la più grande riserva naturale della Thailandia, che si estende a ovest fino alla Birmania. Il parco ospita una foresta pluviale incontaminata con alberi enormi e molte specie di uccelli e mammiferi. Il tempio Wat Huay Mongkol è in realtà un complesso di templi che ospita la statua di monaco più grande del mondo: la statua del famoso monaco, Luang Phor Tuad. Il famoso monaco, Luang Phor Tuad, nacque 400 anni fa, alla fine del periodo Ayuthaya, a Nakhom Si Tamarat, (nel sud della Thailandia). Luang Phor Tuad era famoso per fare miracoli e il popolo thailandese crede che la sua immagine abbia poteri protettivi per tenerli lontani dai disastri naturali e dal malocchio. Il monaco, Luang Phor Tuad, è un sant'uomo ammirato da molti thailandesi che vengono a rendergli omaggio da tutta la Thailandia. I thailandesi credono anche che portare un amuleto di Luang Phor Tuad tenga lontano il malocchio e porti loro fortuna. Ci sono alcuni piccoli negozi che vendono questi amuleti e altri cimeli nel parco.
10:30 proseguimento per il Parco Nazionale Kaeng Krachan. Prima di raggiungere la cascata d'acqua si possono vedere molte volte gli elefanti selvatici che attraversano la strada. Il Parco Nazionale Kaeng Krachan è il più grande parco nazionale della Thailandia. Si trova al confine con la Birmania, contigua alla Riserva Naturale di Tanintharyi. È un parco popolare per la sua vicinanza alla città turistica di Hua Hin. È stato nominato patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO il 26 luglio 2021
Raggiungi la cascata di Pala U e cammina all'interno della giungla fino al posto più bello dove puoi nuotare. Il nome di "Cascata Pa Lau" deriva dalla parola "La-U" in lingua Karen, che significa "bambù" perché l'area di questa cascata è piena di bambù. La cascata Pa La-U si trova nel Parco Nazionale Kaeng Krachan su un'area di circa 437.000.000 di mq con l'abbondante natura e fauna. Gli animali selvatici che sono facilmente visibili includono gibboni, elefanti, ricci e uccelli rari come i trogoni dalla testa rossa, i malkoha dal becco verde, i picchi ardesia, i cuculi dal petto arrugginito, ecc. È considerato un altro luogo adatto per gli uccelli Guardando. La cascata ha un totale di 15 cascate di diversa bellezza individuale. Salire al livello più alto è rispettivamente più difficile. Il personale ha consigliato ai visitatori di salire fino al 5° livello a causa del ripido sentiero limitato per motivi di sicurezza.

We were elected promptly from our hotel lobby. The guide 'Amp' was very friendly and informative about the area we were visiting. Constantly pointing out areas of interest. The meal typical Thai, with a great view.
We had a last minute booking and therefore an extra charge, what we didn't know is that we had a private trip for it! The driver/guide told us a lot during the trip and responded to all our questions. Specially made a small tour change so he could show us more Thai agriculture. In detail, but without imposing, he told us about the faith and culture of Buddhism at the temple with Burda monk. The highlight was the breathtaking beautiful waterfalls where we also swam between the carp. At the end there was a delicious Thai meal at a beautiful idyllic restaurant. So don’t hesitate if you’re looking for another last minute trip.

Very nice experience with eventually a splash in the cool clear water. After a climb, largely doable, sometimes some scrambling we reached level 4 of the waterfall. Here we fed the fish with black grains of fish food that we bought at the entrance. We swam among the fish towards the waterfall. It is not deep, some pieces of stone are a bit sharp, the water shoes came in handy. On the way up, a huge number of colorful butterflies flew. In short, beautiful! Definitely recommended.

The nature and jungle is impressive, unfortunately our expectations were a bit disappointed as we hoped to see and discover more wildlife on this tour, especially elephants and monkeys! Elephants unfortunately did not show up and monkeys there was only a small school on the side of the road but also only because they were just being fed! In the jungle itself you only saw a lot of butterflies and a few lizards! The food afterwards was great! And our tour guide super nice, friendly and very educated! He spoke German, which is another plus point! Conclusion: all in all I found the tour a little too expensive! Even if the jungle experience was good!
Thank you for your review, even if it was too expensive for you. Unfortunately, it is the case that a private booked guided tour costs more than a group join tour because you only drove alone. In addition, as a registered travel agency, we have to comply with Thai regulations, pay taxes and insurance for all guests during the tour. We also have to pay the minimum wage to the driver and tour guide. Since the tour is designed as a jungle tour, there is of course the possibility to see animals, but this is not a guarantee. The English-speaking tour guide was free of charge to offer you a good private tour and excellent service. Nevertheless, I would like to thank you for your booking.
Trip was worthwhile. Guide was very informative. Took us to a number of cultural sites and then to the scenic hike. The waterfalls were picturesque, but challenging to get into the water with the fish and the slippery rocks. The lunch overlooking the hills was delicious. The drive was picturesque. We saw a whole group of macaque monkeys on the way.
