Il Chellah o Shalla, è una necropoli musulmana fortificata medievale situata nella zona metropolitana di Rabat, in Marocco, sul lato sud dell'estuario di Bou Regreg. I Fenici istituirono un emporio commerciale sul sito.
Torre o tour di Hassan Hassan è il minareto di una moschea incompleta a Rabat, in Marocco. Commissionata da Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, il terzo califfo del califfato di Almohad nel 1195, la torre doveva essere il più grande minareto del mondo insieme alla moschea, inteso anche come il più grande del mondo.
Il Mausoleo di Mohammed V è un mausoleo situato sul lato opposto della Torre Hassan, sulla spianata Yacoub al-Mansour a Rabat, in Marocco. Contiene le tombe del re marocchino e dei suoi due figli, il defunto re Hassan II e il principe Abdallah.
La Kasbah degli Udayas è una kasbah a Rabat, in Marocco. Si trova alla foce del fiume Bou Regreg di fronte a Salé. La stessa Kasbah si trova adiacente alla Medina di Rabat.

They provided us with a driver and a guide in Spanish. The guide gave all the explanations from the van; he did not accompany us to any of the places; we had to discover everything on our own using Google Maps. I thought that the guide is the one who leads the tourists and gives explanations on-site. He gave us 20 minutes at each site and then asked us to find where they were parked. They had about 2 hours left of the excursion. At 2 o'clock sharp, we were back in Casablanca again. I gave him 20 dirhams as a tip, and he complained that it was only 2 euros, what a shame. Excursions are like that; you may encounter people who are dedicated to their work and others who are not. If I had known, I would have booked the excursion in English; perhaps I would have had better luck.

We were short changed by this tour company. Khalil, picked us up on time at our hotel. He introduced himself as our guide. When in fact - he was just a driver. He took us to Kasbah and told us he will meet us in the car in 30 mins. He did not give any information about Kasbah, etc. He did the same thing in Mausoleum of Mohammad V and in Chellar. In other words- we had no tour guide at all. We had to rely on our own prior readings to appreciate the history of Rabat. When I told him that the last part of the tour is the old market, he said that all the stores are closed due to the fact that it is Friday and it is Ramadan. I told him to at least take us to the area where the old market is so at least we will see how it is from the outside. He told us that he already showed us where it is when he took us to Kasbah and that we have to turn around to see the market. I realized then that Khalil did not really have the compassion of a tour guide understanding how important it is for tourists to see places in Rabat to appreciate more the history of Morocco. Please do not book any tour with this company. You will waste your money and your time.

We book a day trip with Easy Transfers to Morocco’s capital, Rabat. Our guide was Khaiil, he picked us up in a new and very clean van, which was very comfortable for my family and I. Khaiil did a great job showing us the city. He took us to a few historical sites, one was the Kabah of the Udayas, another was the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed, and the Challah, a medieval fortified Muslim necropolis of Rabat. Afterwards we were given an option on where we would like to go for lunch, and we picked a beautiful seaside restaurant, which I believe was called Marian Bay. Khaiil was a fun and dynamic guide. We would hire him again.

The drive from Casablanca to Rabat gave us an appreciation of the contrast between these two important cities and the landscape in between. Our driver was informative and answered all of our questions. He made several stops in Rabat which gave us a chance to experience the key parts of the city. Lunch at a restaurant on the beach was delicious and relaxing.

Guide was knowledgeable and a nice gentleman with lots of interesting facts about Moroccan history. Rabat is a lovely city for a nice day-trip from (somewhat underwhelming) Casablanca.

Rabat is the most beautiful city we have seen in Morocco in the three weeks we've been traveling this country. Both our driver Khalil and guide Sila deserve 10/10. We had no difficulty understanding them. We were well informed not only Rabat's history, but overall information about Morocco and it's traditions, culture and history. We felt the whole day unfolded at a pleasant pace. A bonus was that the vehicle was very comfortable.
