After a while the locations became too similar. Children got rather bored. We broke it up with lunch and a visit to the Senedd
Thank you for your review of the Cardiff Bay Quest. Yes, this is one of our mini Quests so it only covers Mermaid Quay around Cardiff Bay (as described) - maybe the City Centre Quest would have been more exciting for them which would have covered a wider area. Hopefully they enjoyed some of the puzzles - even though written primarily for adults most curious teens and tweens have fun solving them. Thank you for trying it out and letting us know about your experience.
The design of the experience was cleverly thought through and extensive such that we saw a wide ranging area of Cardiff and felt mentally stimulated. We found it all great fun and were helped by sunny weather.

I visited Cardiff with my 13 year old daughter, a friend and their 12 year old son. We all loved this activity! My daughter and I have done these before; it’s a great way of seeing somewhere new, getting to know your way around a new city and, it gets you moving after the journey! The weather was shocking on the day we arrived and decided to do this quest but, it’s testament to the enjoyment, that we completed it anyway! Some of the tasks were really tricky, some not so - it was a great mix and kept the kids occupied throughout. A winner! I’ll definitely be doing more!
