Prelievo dal tuo hotel, appartamento, Airbnb, aeroporto di Atene o porto del Pireo. Abbiamo bisogno di circa 1,5 ore per arrivare a Sounio.
Piccolo lago d'acqua salmastra alimentato da correnti sotterranee che filtrano attraverso la massa del Monte Imetto. Il lago è un centro termale minerale che si dice abbia molte proprietà curative per disturbi come eczema e malattie dermatologiche, nevralgie, mal di testa, artrite deturpante, malattie ginecologiche croniche, lombalgia, sciatica e altri problemi. La laguna si è formata circa 2.000 anni fa. Un tempo era una grande caverna che crollò in seguito a un terremoto. Il profilo del tetto crollato della caverna è chiaramente distinguibile da lontano. Il lago è riconosciuto come una meraviglia della natura per il suo aspetto unico e per i suoi dintorni.
Il maestoso Tempio di Poseidone è un importante punto di riferimento e ha un notevole valore storico e culturale. Non solo puoi esplorare i monumenti storici in loco, ma il Capo offre anche una spettacolare vista panoramica sul Mar Egeo e sulle isole vicine come Kea, Kythnos, Serifos e Aigina.

Yiannis was our driver, he was very knowledgeable and shared alot of history with us along our ride. The drive was beautiful slong the Athenian Riveria.
