Can Tho : Il Mekong oltre il mercato galleggiante

Descrizione

NOTA : POSSIAMO RITIRARE GRATUITAMENTE PRESSO Sheraton Can Tho, Victoria resort Can Tho, Wink Hotel, Charmant Suites Can Tho, ufficio nella città di MEKONG LEGACY RESORT o Azerai resort, Con Khuong resort, Vam Xang Rustic, Mekong Silt Ecolodge, TTC hotel, Lion Hotel, Iris hotel

We had an amazing time visiting the floating market, noodle factory, the cacao farm and taste local fruits. We were picked up directly at our hotel. Our guides Tammy and John were so lovely and energetic. They explained really well. They were really nice with our kids and our kids loved it. I recommend it!
We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend to anyone visiting Can Tho. It certainly was made all the more special by our beautiful tour guide, Mai, who taught us a number of things about the history and future of the floating market and what everyday on the Mekong Delta is like, all with the most exceptional English and the most beautiful smile. We loved Mai so much we recommended her for our Village Cycling Tour we had booked for the following day (also a tour we thoroughly recommend). The floating market is certainly a lot smaller than it used to be, and what a number of the photos show, but we loved experiencing what life on the river is like, enjoying our morning coffee and breakfast, the most delicious fresh Pho purchased from floating market vendors. We were welcomed aboard a local’s traditional houseboat, a very interesting experience to see what life living on the river is like. The tour also included a visit to a rice noodle factory and cocoa factory. We particularly enjoyed the cocoa factory and to understand the many stages required to produce cocoa, and the differences between white, milk and dark chocolate. The iced cold chocolate drink was delicious. All food and drink, including fresh fruit from the market and hotel transfers were included in the tour. Thank you Mai for a wonderful tour.
Our family decided to take this small tour, rather than go on a big boat from our resort, and I am so pleased we did. It was perfect for us. We were picked up from our hotel by Mai and taken to the market where we learnt about local food and fruit. Next, we went to the floating market and had fresh juice, coffee and noodles which were amazing- we were only sorry we couldn’t finish the very generous bowl! Mai showed us around a traditional boat and explained what everyday life is like living on the river. She took the time to answer all our kids questions and we learnt so much about culture and daily life, and the history and future of the market. The rice noodle factory was a grounding experience for our children - to see the hard labour and traditional methods that go into making the delicious noodles we just ate on the river made all of us appreciate the skill and dedication of local people to their way of life, and to provide for their families. Not to mention - so much fun learning how to make the noodles! Our youngest, who is 6, had a great time here and at our next stop - the cocoa farm. This was of course, a highlight for our kids, and we loved learning about the process of making chocolate from tree to final product. The traditional machinery was really interesting and the cold chocolate drinks were delicious. We were so grateful to have Mai as our tour guide. She explained everything to us with patience and all in outstanding English, while teaching us some Vietnamese too. I should mention that we also had the most amazing Captain! He rode the waves from the bigger boats with perfection (also fun for the kids) and helped us on and off the boat at every stop. They both looked after us extremely well, and I can highly recommend this experience, and especially the tour guide Mai, and captain Khung.* *I am unsure of the spelling of this name, my apologies, sounding like ‘Kung’ in English.
We had good luck to have this interesting, fun tour with Mai. We learned a lot about the Mekong Delta and it‘s people, had the chance to go hands on in crafting rice noodles and the opportunity to take many beautiful pictures. Our guide took care of everything around, we had local food, drinks and no need to pay anything extra. 100% recommendable!
I had a great experience on this tour; we went to see the floating market, drove the boat through small jungle canals, we also went to see how rice noodles are made and how cacao is produced. Pi is such an amazing and fun tour guide which made the experience even better!! Highly recommend!!!
It was a very interesting and enjoyable tour, thanks to Mariah, who let us taste various tropical fruits and explained the chocolate-making process very clearly, taking us to an authentic Vietnamese farm. We also visited a facility and watched the production of noodles. Highly recommended.
Me and my friend were lucky enough to experience this tour with Mai and the captain Kháng ! They were both amazing. Mai was a great tour guide and gave us so much knowledge and facts about the way of life in the Mekong Delta. It was such a beautiful tour with stop of points at the local rice noodle factory and cacao farm. We had a delicious traditional Vietnamese breakfast in the floating market as well as some fresh local fruits provided by Mai🫰🏼. We got to climb aboard one of the boats of the market to try some fresh pineapple and purchase a small token ! We were shown around the boat and where the owners lived and where stock is kept on the boat. The whole experience was such a a privilege to see and is definitely a must to when visiting the area ! Highly recommended !!
Our experience on the delta was amazing with Mekong Realism. Our guide Mai explained the workings of the floating market, the noodle factory, the cocoa farm, and especially every little anecdote about Vietnamese life, which we greatly enjoyed. I recommend our guide Mai for the excursion 1000%. It was just incredible! Thank you, Mai.
We had a wonderful tour with our guide, Mai. She was so happy and informative and told us so many things in regards to the Mekong region. The breakfast at the floating market was a great experience, and the rice noodle making and cacao farm visits were wonderful inclusions.. We highly recommend this tour.
Phuc / Tammy was an amazing, cheerful tour guide! We had a lovely morning floating along the river, seeing the marker, trying all kinds of fruit, and learning a lot about the area. With a local guide who shares a lot about the mekong delta, we really felt like we learnt a lot this morning :) would definitely recommend!
