Camp The Wall a Pechino

Noodles did a brilliant job taking us to The Great Wall, it felt special because it was unspoiled / not busy with tourists and he was very knowledgeable. He was friendly, easygoing and arranged delicious food for us as well!

Was an amazing walk on the first day and exploring different part of the wall in the morning, tour guide was friendly and very helpful

We really enjoyed our time with Noodles. He was extremely informative and laid back. We started off at the meet up point and drove about 2 hours to the first hike. The views are incredible. The dinner was good and made in the local village. The night was a little breezy but not bad. Overall, recommend doing this tour!

Oh my buddha! This trip was truly amazing, was a little hesitant / worried because it is cheaper than the others,but so so good. Peter picked me up from my Hostel, we then drove to the wall. Stoped for bathroom break and snacks just before! Got to the wall and hiked till 4-5 then came down for dinner at a local house/restaurant(tourist friendly and very yummy food!!!) was overall very welcoming. We then hiked back up for the sun set and watched it from the wall! (This is the only time you carry your bag and a beer!and its for maybe 15min) Woke up for sunset the hiked down and drove to a place for breakfast. Overall amazing time with Peter! Spoke good english, laughing and answering any questions i had the whole time! Also offered to take many pictures. Thank you so very much for this once in a life time opportunity peter❤️🇨🇦

We had an unforgettable experience at the great wall. Noodles was a great guide who explained everything from the history of the wall to Chinese culture. We went to a lesser known part where there were almost no other tourists. Catching the sunrise on the wall was definitely a highlight.

I highly recommend this guide! It was very amazing to sleep in the grate wall and watch sunset and sunrise !The view especially in the morning walk was panoramic scenery!

It was a great day out! We were picket up at the hotel from a very friendly and competent guide. Stuck into traffic jam, we got lot of informations on Beijing, the wall, history and actualities. Our guide helped us through the jungle of tickets, controls ind shuttle bus. So we could enjoy the trip to the wall. In total it was an excellent experience!

This tour was amazing, Peter was such a great guide. We went to a quiet part of the wall and there was not many people at all so no overcrowding. We walked at our own pace and enjoyed the sunset and then had a great meal at the small village nearby. We then got the tents set up on the wall and you had everything you needed provided, tents, sleeping bags, ground mat and waterproofs. We then rose at sunrise to see the awesome views over the wall. Would highly recommend this tour to everything who wants to see the wall!!

CAMP THE WALL is back after a long hiatus because of Covid. These guys really know what they are doing. They are true experts on the Wild Great Wall and have a long experience in organizing this kind of trips, for both tourists and foreingers living in China. I have been with them a couple of times coordinating the camps and many times doing 1 day trips. I wouldn't recommend them if I don't trust them. This is really a unique experience made for true mountain, nature and history lovers! Forget about crowded restored sections like Badaling or Mutianyu. Here there's no shops, no taxi stops, no loud speakers, just you and the wall. I truly recommend this experience.
