Cammina fino alla Big Rock nel Parco statale di Cantareira: trasferimento dall'aeroporto facoltativo

Fai un'escursione guidata privata nel Parco Statale di Cantareira, a circa 40 minuti dal centro di San Paolo con un veicolo privato. L'escursione ha l'obiettivo principale di raggiungere Pedra Grande (grande scoglio) che è un belvedere alto 1010 metri a circa 5 chilometri dall'ingresso principale del parco (10 km a piedi andata e ritorno), dove i visitatori possono contemplare uno dei panorami più splendidi della San Paolo. Per raggiungere il punto panoramico di Pedra Grande, i visitatori camminano su strade sterrate in salita, su sentieri di livello di difficoltà leggero e circondati da foreste autoctone, paesaggi lussureggianti, piccole cascate e animali, in particolare scimmie. A circa un'ora e mezza di cammino dall'ingresso principale del parco, riposa un bellissimo laghetto. Fai una pausa ai margini, quindi prosegui per altri trenta minuti raggiungendo il belvedere. Una volta nell'area di riposo più alta di Pedra Grande, ammira le incredibili viste che abbracciano tutta la vastità di San Paolo guardando attraverso le valli verso la più grande città dell'emisfero australe.

Itinerario
Ci incontriamo al tuo hotel e partiamo verso il nord della città. Dopo una cinquantina di minuti di viaggio, entriamo nel Cantareira State Park, una riserva naturale che si estende su oltre 7.900 ettari: l'equivalente di 8000 campi da calcio!
Una volta tra le montagne della Cantareira, iniziamo il nostro itinerario escursionistico che ci porta a raggiungere Pedra Grande. Lungo il percorso potremo contemplare il rigoglioso paesaggio naturale e le piccole cascate, nonché osservare gli animali che vivono nel parco. Tieni gli occhi aperti e, con un po' di fortuna, individuerai delle scimmie! Dopo un'ora e mezza di cammino, faremo una sosta sulla riva del Lago das Carpas, dove potremo recuperare le forze e rilassarci in mezzo alla natura.
Continueremo il nostro viaggio per altri trenta minuti, fino a raggiungere Pedra Grande, un belvedere situato a 1010 metri sul livello del mare da cui godremo di incredibili panorami di San Paolo e delle valli che circondano la città. Il contrasto tra la metropoli e la foresta circostante è davvero sorprendente!
Termina con un fantastico pranzo presso il complesso di ristoranti "O Velhão" (non incluso) e sorseggia la famosa cachaça, la bevanda nazionale brasiliana di cui il ristorante offre molte varietà.

This was a fantastic day walking the rainforest and seeing the expansive views back over Sao Paulo. Amazing. It is only a short car ride out of the city but you felt miles away. All of the arrangements on the day worked really well with hotel pick-up and drop-off. Communication throughout was really good. Denis, our guide for the day, was absolutely brilliant. Really friendly, great knowledge, excellent English and a fun sense of humour. Made it all really interesting and educational. Also everything was tailored around us (a family of three), what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to be walking. Highly recommended and great value.

Danilo from Gregtur picked us up at our Airbnb and was our guide for the walk up through the National Park to Big Rock for superlative views of São Paulo City. Danilo was a superb guide and we enjoyed his company right from the start . He told us so much about São Paulo, its culture, history and politics that it brought the place alive for us. He had a thoughtful and gentle manner which all of us loved. His English was superb. The walk itself up through the national park(rainforest) was beautiful. The views from the top down to the city were amazing. He gave us space to enjoy the views as a family but was very attentive to our needs. He took some beautiful photos of us and the views. It was a day that the four of us will never forget! I highly recommend the tour and Danilo as a guide. We had another tour booked with Gregturismo the next day and were delighted to find Danilo was our tour guide again!

Was searching very last minute for an outdoor activity the next morning and came in contact with Greg. He did an incredible job of pure customer service by working to coordinate with available guides, open parks, and my budget. I was picked up from my hotel, guided on a 5 hr hike, drank from fresh coconuts to rehydrate, then dropped off back at my hotel. All of this was done by Luiz. Such an amazing person. Full of stories, knowledge, courtesy, and an openness to friendship. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a close urban escape while in Sao Paulo.

Delightful pair of walks up to Pedra Grande with an amazing view of all of Sao Paolo, then through the rainforest to waterfalls. Our guide Dennis was very knowledgeable, friendly and good company. Recommend most highly.
Outstanding views of São Paulo with some close encounters with sagui monkeys! Loved it! Guide explained local food and drinks at an amazing restaurant.
I didn’t post any pictures because I didn’t want to confuse the actual tour we did. I was unable to do the hike due to a last minute injury. The tour guide company was phenomenal at accommodating the change of plans and we were able to have a great day with Denis our guide. He was very knowledgeable and guided us with ease in English. Highly recommend this tour as their staff is exceptional
