It was something my son and I thought we would never do it will was great , they rest them well and treat them good while you are walking with them Worth getting there as soon as it opens at 9am as it soon got busy and I rebooked our tickets as it was cheaper well worth it
Absolutely incredible experience. The camels were lovely and the handlers were really kind, taking photos for you. The camels are really well cared for. Amazing thing to do with the family. I Absolutely loved it!
Fantastic little trip. We got there early so waited only 10 minutes. People moaning about wait times … spend your time taking your pictures with the camels it was fun. We pre booked online and was easy. The camel ride was 30 minutes and it flew past. Well worth the money
I booked directly on site and this is actually 3 € cheaper than with the providers. The camels, which are dromedare, look well maintained and have been given regular breaks. I do it for a total of 30 minutes and attention was paid to the weight of the participants. I was there with two children and it was really great to take care of us, repeatedly going around that the big one, who was 5 years old and sat alone on one side, also felt safe. She was very proud that she could do it on her own. I felt that both the people were courteous and nice, and the animals were treated well. Don’t upset it, but if you don’t want to run in heat, or like in my case has a child with jet lag, really a great alternative. You can't see the heart of the dunes, so a star deduction, but I think that would just be too far from the track. Definitely well invested €15.
Be aware you only can book online and you get no time, it is first come, first served so for us, that meant wasting money in a taxi ride out there to find out they are sold out, then we have to go back another day and arrive at 9 am to ensure we can take the ride.
We booked tickets the day before. When we arrived the next day, we were assigned a number in the queue. We arrived a little over 11 a.m. and had to wait about 1.5 hours before it became our turn. Recommend therefore to be out in good time. Nice experience for the whole family at a good price (we were two adults and a child of 7 years old). For animal welfare, they had a maximum weight limit for all who were to sit on the camels. All camels had names, and it seemed that those who leased the camels knew them well.
Beautiful experience.. well organised. Very friendly staff, camels are well trained… very pleased with it.
We did it because our daughter wanted to ride a camel and although she was a little scary at first, she ended up enjoying the experience a lot. Older people I think we enjoy even more hehehe.
Nice when we never did, to discover, the price is very affordable for this friendly walk.
It has been a very nice experience, with beautiful landscapes and dunes, very meek camels and nice staff......
