Magnifici tableaux scenografici!! Mostrando, per effetto magico, figure in movimento, bambini delle fate, barche giocattolo, in movimento e scene di grande trasformazione! È molto divertente e molte delle sue scene creano risate eccessive. Uomini, donne e bambini sono tutti affascinati dalla misteriosa combinazione delle meraviglie della natura. Lo spettacolo Tavira Eye è ogni 30 minuti. Biglietti acquistati alla reception (validi fino all'utilizzo). Non perdere questa esperienza straordinaria e unica al mondo!!!

Great fun attraction, interesting and the host made it fun as well It’s a steepish walk from the river but worth the effort
Great fun, with real-time view of the town and running commentary from the host. (Expect some name-dropping though!) Just four of us, which was a bonus as we could move round the dish. Keep an eye on limited opening times.
Since childhood I love photography When I was looking for places to visit in Tavira I was soon curious about this place. After going up... Very... Up there overlooking the whole city, we found this place. An old water reservoir that was to be demolished and thanks to opposing voices remained and was transformed into a camera. The guide who was the main driver of this space makes a guided visit where one realizes that this space was a life project. Through a system of engines and leverages, project images of the city on a wall. Wheel the lens, zoom and we go round and see 360o images of the city. No doubt worth the 5€ entry...
Dear, no point. Guide who speaks only English quickly and without articulating. Talked about hotels and expensive place. Nothing about the history of the city.
Stumbled upon this whilst walking around town . I had no idea what it was but so pleased we went in . What a lovely way to spend 30 mins . I have now read some reviews and the guide does make some comments about the things he has seen , but these are all in jest and very PG , he is trying to have some fun , I would not describe them as lewd . He has a good knowledge of the area and it was great to hear about the history of some of the buildings.
This was our first visit to a Camera Obscura. Such clarity in the real time images of the city of Tavira. I agree with a previous reviewer, in that it would have been interesting to hear a little of how the camera actually worked. My only criticism was our guide! He was creepy in some of the comments he was making and made our party of 4 people really quite uncomfortable. We all opted to take the stairs back down, and didn't go back in the lift with him!
Anyone who has never experienced the Camera Obscura technique should visit. Everyday life live is projected directly onto the "table". The explanations were in English and quite humorous. You also get an overview of the city and the buildings explained. Like a little guided city tour. Entrance fee 5 euros is well spent. The whole thing is located in the old water tower
It was probably the worst experience I've ever had in the Algarve. It's not worth it. Not for free. Totally disappointed. My opinion is not visit, not worth it...
Perfect start of Tavira visit! Polish guide best in class! Entertaining for the kids and the adults! Very nice of the hosts, to sell water.
We enjoyed this. It gives a 20 minute live tour of Tavira in a completely different perspective. Our 'guide' was very knowledgeable, it wasn't expensive and you get some great photo opportunities going up and down the tower if you take the steps. Recommended.
