Great learning experience. Loved the dogs and the interactions as they found truffles with their spectacular noses.

Our truffle hunting experience with Johann and his three dogs was easily one of the highlights of our trip. It was informative, educational, unique, and most importantly, so much fun. Johann was an incredible host with a wealth of knowledge and a real talent for engaging his guests. He seamlessly took us through everything from the science behind truffles, to the business and economics of truffles, to the actual hunting process with his dogs, and of course, the best part: tasting and enjoying the truffles afterward. You can tell Johann is genuinely passionate about what he does, and that enthusiasm made the entire experience that much better. We learned a ton, had a great time, and came away with a whole new appreciation for truffles. 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 would absolutely do it again!

Great experience: the location, the dogs, the tasting, the insights,….

What an amazingly fun experience. We’ve been on truffle hunts before, last year in Italy. What makes this experience stand part is the fantastic tasting at the end that exceeded expectations. The champagne kept flowing and we loved different ways you can experience summer truffles. Highly recommend.

Great experience! Highly recommend it! Our guide was not only super knowledgeable about the truffle-hunting process and industry, but also very funny. The time flew by! The dogs were adorable and quickly found some truffles! We were given an abundance of truffles to taste, served several ways, including in ice cream! All were delicious! We now understand what to look for in good quality truffles, how to store them, how to eat them, and how to order them in a restaurant. An excellent tour for people of all ages!

Awesome Hospitality and very informative

About an hour outside of Avignon is this cute little town with a hidden gem of a tour. Don’t miss this if you have a few hours. Our tour guide, Johann, dogs and truffle hunter were awesome. Johann was very engaging with each of the guests and gave us a great education on the truffle industry in a very entertaining way. My husband wasn’t sure he would enjoy this and surprise, surprise, it was terrific. Not only did we learn how this difficult process works, but we got to eat the truffles.!!!

Learned so much and loved seeing the dogs in action. The tasting was great. A wonderful experience all around.

We had a fabulous afternoon learning about truffle farming and then went truffle hunting with the adorable dogs. The tastings at the end with champagne were delicious. Overall it was a really great experience and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you .
