Buggy Fuerteventura Off-Road Excursions

Descrizione

We had a 4 seater buggy from 'Dune Buggy Excursion' and we absolutely loved it. The tour was great, the guide was great, very friendly. We did some good off roading but also a lot of tarmac driving to and from the off road places which was the only down side. We stopped off at the Volcano and the guide took some great family photos of us which was also great. We paid €249 for a family of 4 which is a lot of money (£212) but worth it I think when you factor in fuel, wear and tear on buggies, staff wages etc. The experience lasted 2hrs in total which is a decent length I thought. We were the only English family in our group but the guide did the brief in Spanish then to us in very good English 👏🏻 All in all I enjoyed it that much, I'm taking my eldest back in 2 days on a two seater to do it all again! Vamos!
Very disappointing experience – overpriced, shorter than advertised and barely off-road Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this experience. We booked what was advertised to us as an off-road dune buggy experience lasting between 2 and 2.5 hours. We left at 3:00 PM, so based on what we had been told, we expected to return sometime between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. Instead, we were already back at 4:40 PM, meaning the entire experience lasted only 1 hour and 40 minutes, including the stops. This was particularly disappointing considering we paid €100 per person – €300 in total for three people. Even worse was the actual route. Out of the entire experience, I would estimate that only around 30 minutes were genuinely off-road. The rest of the time was spent driving on normal paved roads and, for surprisingly long stretches, on the highway. When you book a dune buggy experience in Fuerteventura expecting an off-road adventure, spending most of your time driving on asphalt and highways completely defeats the purpose. The few stops we made were also extremely short and in relatively uninteresting locations. Our guide, Pablo, seemed completely uninterested in making the experience enjoyable. He barely interacted with us, gave us no real information about the places where we stopped, and generally seemed impatient and unenthusiastic throughout the whole tour. What made this particularly noticeable was that at every single stop, Pablo would smoke a cigarette and, as soon as he had finished it, ask us if we could leave and continue the tour. It genuinely felt as though the duration of each stop was basically the time it took him to smoke a cigarette. There was no opportunity to properly enjoy the location, explore, take our time, or learn anything about where we were. Overall, we were left with the strong impression that the priority was simply to finish the tour as quickly as possible, which would also explain why we returned at least 20 minutes earlier than even the minimum duration we had been promised. For €300 in total, we expected much, much more: a genuinely off-road route, the advertised duration, interesting stops, and a guide who actually wanted to make the experience fun and engaging. Perhaps the experience is better with another guide or on a different route, but based on what we experienced, the value for money was terrible. Paying €100 per person for a shortened tour with roughly half an hour of actual off-road driving and most of the remaining time spent on paved roads and highways was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this experience. If I could choose again, I would definitely book with another company.

Had a great experience 10/10 the Italian guy was great but forgot his name.. only small issue says 80% off road more like 65% off road but still it was worth it thanks
We had an incredible time on this excursion. The guides and photographer were amazing. The views and scenery were beautiful. Thank you so much!
Too much road, slow going, could be more fun...
Was disappointing. We paid for 2 hours €159 for 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 15). Were picked up and returned at hotel. The buggies are not fast, you ride in a train in a row. Mostly on asphalt road. Bring your own food and drinks. Photos were €20,- and will be sent via email a day later. Of the 25, few were sharp. So don't expect too much..
Good morning, I think you’ve got the wrong company entirely. You’ve left a review that is completely inaccurate and does not reflect our tour or our prices, particularly for four people. As for the extra photos, they are not priced at that rate, neither are there that many photos included. Furthermore, our photographers are professionals; they would never deliver blurred photos to customers. Please be more careful when leaving reviews and ensure you review the correct company. Mistakes like this harm the companies that do the best work.
We booked two buggies. Just something different—was not quite sure what to expect. We did have a great time. It was very calm; a lot of main road, and the off-road part was not too bad or bumpy or anything like that. If you're looking for a fast, thrill-seeking off-road experience, this is definitely not for you, but it was perfect for us as a family and did not want to go too fast. The guide was very experienced, and the buggies themselves were very comfortable for an off-road vehicle and quite modern. Tip: buy face masks and glasses before you go, as these are not included and they will be cheaper in the market.
Terrible tour, disgusting buggies that didn’t brake and leaked oil, embarrassing route 60% of the time driving on the highway with one hand, if you want to have fun, avoid these frauds, unprofessional and rude staff, very little off-road driving without ever really being able to drive.
The buggy tour in Fuerteventura was one of the absolute highlights of my vacation. It has long been a great dream of mine to drive a buggy through the impressive landscapes of the island – and the tour even exceeded my expectations. The route was varied, the views breathtaking, and the entire experience simply unforgettable. The team was very friendly, professional, and everything was excellently organized. A small tip for all participants: Prepare for a lot of dust! A bandana or cloth for your mouth and nose is highly recommended. If you don't have one with you, you can easily buy one on-site for a few euros. After the tour, you should definitely take a thorough shower with fresh water and not just quickly jump into the sea. The fine dust really settles everywhere, and a proper shower feels significantly more pleasant afterward. Additionally, you should listen carefully to the safety instructions from the instructors and follow them. Riding is incredibly fun, but you should not underestimate the route. Avoid sudden or risky steering maneuvers and drive responsibly – safety always comes first. I would do this tour again anytime and can recommend it to anyone who wants to discover Fuerteventura in a special way. Thank you very much for this fantastic experience – a clear 5 stars! 🤩
Don’t wear a hat, it will blow off. Do wear a bandanna. If you have to have a snack, ie diabetes etc. There is a snack box in the front of the vehicle. You do get a drink. Good support team, if you break down etc.
