Buenos Aires Bodega Gamboa Wine Tasting Tour & Pranzo

Great experience from start to finish! our driver was friendly, punctual, and made the trip really enjoyable. The wine was excellent, and the food was even better, fresh, delicious, and well presented. The wineyard is a beautiful place, and the whole experience was relaxed and well organized. Definitely recommend it!

Excellent experience, we loved the wines and the menu. It is a boutique winery, the closest one to Buenos Aires and the staff is very friendly.

It is a bit of mixed feelings. They are very kind at Bodega Gamboa and try to make the experience very good, but I do think the price is very high for what the experience really is. The winery is small and the food is a 7 out of 10. They picked us up super early, we arrived a little before 10 am, the tour started at 10:45 am, the winery tour lasts 30-40 minutes, then lunch. At 1:30 pm we were ready to leave but we couldn't find the tour operator. We left at 3 p.m. back to Buenos Aires. Too much time for the experience....

I was borderline average too poor to be honest. Once again Viator advertised this experience as a small group with a maximum of 12 people, there were 18 people in our group... when we asked the venue themselves, that said that usually there are 30 people...! Our Viator ticket clearly said ENGLISH, but our guide was very Spanish speaking, I'd estimate out of the wine tour part of 60 minutes, 50 minutes was Spanish with 10 minutes in English, to the point I was Google translating him.. the vineyard tour was uninspiring, it's a tiny and by my review a rundown facility, perhaps we had been spoilt already by our Casa De Uco vineyard tour, the lunch was average to be honest and as my wife complained to the venue about the above to issues, as we'd learned by previous experience on this trip that Viator as a platform does absolutely nothing, apart from saying that their decision (to not refund) is final.. we were then very much left to own devices, not having our drinks topped up unlike the rest of the group at other tables, having food slammed onto the table with no explanation of what it was and at one point I'd counted 11 plates between the three of us piled up not being cleared away. to be fair to the venue, they did after having my wife rant at them, provide two bottles of wine as compensation, but honestly it was pretty foul and was left partially consumed when we got back to the hotel. Luckily, we were last to be dropped off and first to be picked up in the Giggle bus, judging by the faces of others on the bus it looked like they had been on the bus for some time, never again for a shared tour I'd say, I think back to the inbetweeners scene from the movie when they get dropped off at their hotel, with a dead dog in the well...

Great experience overall! I would recommend this to other traveling trying to escape the city for the day.

The tour is pleasant, the tasting of wines and delicious cuisine. But it 's a small vineyard , where you can 't see the production , like in larger vineyards , only if you open a gate where you see some vineyards . For beginners, I recommend the tour.

Bodega GAMBOA is a vineyard about an hour from the centre of Buenos Aires. The day is an experience where you wander around a vineyard, sampling a variety of wines and learning about how the winery works. The tour ends with a 2-hour lunch with several courses and accompanying wines. It is a wonderful way to spend a day, whilst enjoying Argentinian wines and food.

Our host, Iara, was incredible. Even though I was the only person in the group who spoke English, she took the time to translate in English for me, ensuring I could fully enjoy every moment of the experience. Warm hospitality and personal attention** Iara’s thoughtful translations made the tour accessible and enjoyable. The staff throughout the visit were friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Lunch and food experience** The lunch was delicious and thoughtfully paired with the wines. Fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors complemented the tasting. Wine quality and selection** The wines offered a great representation of the Bodega Gamboa portfolio. Knowledgeable explanations enhanced the tasting experience. Overall experience** A memorable, well-paced tour with excellent hosts and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region, especially non-Spanish speakers. If you’re considering a wine tour with a personal touch and superb hospitality, Bodega Gamboa, guided by Iara, is a fantastic choice.

Two part review. (1) The vineyard is new and lovely. Wine sampling was good. The lunch delightful. However, not worth the cost. (2) Arrival and departure horrible. I was picked up by a driver and dropped off at the restaurant, sat there alone for 40 minutes with no explanation as to what was happening. Same thing happened at the end of the tour. (Not acceptable Viator- for safety reasons as female solo traveler.)
