Lovely walking tour of key highlights of Pest side of city. Julia was very responsive to our itinerary requests and very knowledgeable about the old and recent history of the city. A very nice woman to enjoy the beauty and history of Budapest with.
Macarena was well-prepared, gave us the history of the area and showed us everything we requested and more! We spent the day in Pest at our request as our river cruise tour the following day was to hit the highlights of Buda. However, our ship had to leave the city early due to low water levels and we never got to see Buda. I wished that we had toured Buda with Macarena as well, which is what she recommended. There was a downpour in the middle of out tour and the guide knew exactly where to duck in until the rain was over. She also provided suggestions on where to eat once we were on our own. And took pictures of us (all the right angles) from her phone with a better camera than ours and sent them to us on WhatsApp. My husband and I are so glad we booked this tour! Thank you!
Be prepared to walk. Lots of walking . We enjoyed it. Tour is prepared to your request. Communication between guide and us before the tour was in point.
Linda was an amazing guide who made the trip memorable and interesting. She was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about Budapest. As an older group she kept the pace to exactly what we wanted and needed. Highly recommend
Linda was our tour guide and she was superb in every way. We wanted to walk so from our hotel on the Danube where Linda met us we walked to Heroes Squae in Pest to Fishermans Bastion in Buda and we got our miles in. Linda was very knowledgeable about everything Budapest and also very personable which made our trip fantastic. We stopped at New York Cafe for a rest and it was lovely but took some time because of the crowd there. We did not go into churches or museums so if you want to spend more time at a few places make a list and then go back on your own. Later we went to Gerbeaud’s Cafe in the hotel zone and we felt it was authentic Hungarian but both cafes were very nice. Try Gerbeaud’s for lunch or coffee too. We also liked Kéhli Vendeglo for Hungarian cuisine and violin music. All in all it was a great trip to Budapest thanks to Linda!

We only had one day in Budapest and wanted to get the highlights covered in a couple of hours. Alix is an excellent guide. He gave us a good sense of Budapest's history, architecture and culture. He is very knowledgeable and a great story-teller. He was very generous with his time and spent longer with us.
