La prima tappa del nostro tour del patrimonio ebraico è la seconda sinagoga più grande del mondo, conosciuta come Sinagoga di via Dohány. Mostre, memoriali e molto altro ci aspettano da esplorare come il Memoriale dell'Olocausto, il Cimitero degli Eroi, l'Albero della Vita con il Wallenberg Memorial Park.
Visitiamo il Museo Ebraico, contiene una collezione unica di manufatti ebraici (ad esempio il più antico pinnacolo della Torah del mondo) con una storia incredibile.
Storia affascinante con l'arte locale; famosi bar in rovina; boutique eclettiche; gallerie d'avanguardia e ottimi posti dove mangiare - Il quartiere ebraico (Patrimonio dell'Umanità) è diventato uno dei luoghi più eccitanti e popolari di Budapest. Durante il nostro tour a piedi esploriamo i punti salienti di questo vivace quartiere e, naturalmente, parliamo della lunga storia della comunità ebraica ungherese.
Scopriamo la piccola comunità ortodossa con le loro abitudini e costumi della vita quotidiana visitando la piccola e pacifica sinagoga ortodossa.
L'ultima sinagoga nel triangolo ebraico è la sinagoga di Rumbach Street con storie interessanti. Nota: al momento è in fase di ricostruzione.

We had a wonderful tour with George. He was informative and fun to be with. Highly recommend Geroge and this tour.
Our tour guide, György was fabulous. He met us at the lobby of our hotel and provided us with an informative walking tour of the surrounding area on the way to the Jewish quarter of Budapest. He was incredibly knowledgeable of Budapest and the Jewish history. We thoroughly appreciated all he had to offer in seeing the important sites in the area, including but not limited to the synagogues, museum, memorials and current cultural flair of the local area. In addition to the walking, he took us on the Metro to the river bank to see the Parliament building and the important, solemn Shoes on the Danube memorial. He provided us with so much important information of this part of Budapest’s history, and was polite and professional too. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Budapest.

George was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide. Everything was perfect from meeting me at the hotel to drop off. Very emotional day but light moments with chimney cake and small talk. As I was solo, George did the usual tour but offered options and insights throughout the day to be sure I saw everything I should or wanted to. This tour is a must for anyone who wants a history of the Jewish story in Budapest

<p>Rashad is one of the most knowledgeable historians on Jewish events I have ever heard. He gave us an overview of world history as it related to Jewish people as well as in depth descriptions of the ghettos where thousands died from exposure, starvation, and Nazi bullets. The most striking portion of the tour was the depiction of the men,women and children who were shot and thrown into the Danube illustrated by empty shoes at the river side. The tour was well worth more than its cost.</p>
