La nostra prima destinazione è la città turistica di Sinaia, dove si trova il Castello di Peles. Per arrivarci dobbiamo attraversare la valle di Prahova, lasciando alle spalle eleganti località montane Predeal, Azuga e Busteni che attirano continuamente un gran numero di turisti rumeni e stranieri, sulla strada che attraversa il vorticoso fiume Prahova. La bellezza naturale mozzafiato si apre davanti ai tuoi occhi ma la vista più spettacolare è da Busteni dove puoi ammirare le vette più alte dei Monti Bucegi: Caraiman Peak, Costila Peak e Omu Peak. Arrivo a Sinaia, una volta un esclusivo resort aristocratico, dove visitiamo il Castello di Peles, residenza estiva dell'ex famiglia reale rumena. Il castello di Peles è uno dei musei più belli della Romania ed è stato costruito in quasi 40 anni dal re Carlo 1.

Il castello di Peles è uno dei musei più belli della Romania ed è stato costruito in quasi 40 anni dal re Carlo 1.
Sulla strada per il Castello di Bran, troverete uno dei monasteri più antichi del paese, il Monastero di Sinaia. Con una storia che risale a 300 anni fa, segnata da un rapporto speciale con la famiglia reale, questo venerabile monastero è un'attrazione da non perdere grazie alle sue due chiese costruite a 150 anni di distanza l'una dall'altra.
Continuiamo il nostro viaggio al famoso Castello di Bran. Per arrivarci bisogna attraversare la Valle di Prahova, lasciandosi alle spalle eleganti località montane Predeal, Azuga e Busteni che attraggono continuamente un alto numero di turisti rumeni e stranieri, sulla strada che attraversa il vorticoso fiume Prahova. La bellezza naturale mozzafiato si apre davanti ai vostri occhi ma la vista più spettacolare è da Busteni dove potrete ammirare le cime più alte dei Monti Bucegi: Caraiman Peak, Costila Peak e Omu Peak. Chiamato anche castello di Dracula, si trova all'ingresso del passo Bran-Rucar. Notevole architettonico, il monumento fu costruito tra il 1377-1382 su una roccia di 60 m. Dopo la visita del castello di Bran, dirigetevi verso un ristorante locale per il pranzo di insalate fresche, zuppe tradizionali, delizioso sarmale, carne, pollo, verdure e altri piatti regionali (bevande e pasti a proprie spese). Il pranzo tradizionale può essere organizzato nel villaggio di Bran.
Visitare la Fortezza di Rasnov, che è stata costruita nel 13 ° secolo, potrebbe essere solo il più incantevole di tutti! La fortezza è la più grande della Transilvania e una delle meglio conservate della Romania. Bellissimo panorama su Barsa Land dall'alto della fortezza.

Alina was such a fantastic guide for us. She really knew her stuff and was totally engaging telling us all about the history of the places we went to plus about her own experiences of growing up in Romania during pivotal times in the country's recent history. We got held up in traffic for a large part of the day but she made sure we still saw and enjoyed all parts of the tour. Would highly recommend. There may be some tickets that you require on top of the tour booking so do check this as soon as you are able as they may sell out during peak times of the year.

Excellent day with an excellent guide. Marius was very informative and accommodating. We learned so much from the day and had excellent food too thanks to Marius. Would highly recommend this activity. Visiting these places would not be the same experience without the local guides to give the history. We also received history and information on local buildings and areas on route to these castles/fortress.

Bogdon was a great guide — he’s very informative and has a good sense of humor. He also was flexible and gave good suggestions when it came to having some free time to ourselves and avoiding crowded times at the tourist sites. We were fortunate to have him as our guide and that we ended up being the only two people in what would’ve otherwise been a small group, so it felt like a private tour. Râşnov Fortress is still undergoing renovations at the time, so we were not able to explore the inside.

I highly recommend this tour. Not only do you see several castles and a monastery but you do it with a guide who knows the best parking areas, has an excellent understanding of the history of the area and speaks English extremely well.
