Boston: Tour a piedi per piccoli gruppi

Descrizione

Learned a lot that I didn’t know! Lots of walking, but not strenuous. We had opportunities to sit and listen; took a break in the middle. Maze was great!
This tour was such a great way to deep dive into the history behind the Freedom Trail & gave us a good overview of all the stops along the way so that we could go back on our own to get more in depth into the sites that interested us the most. Our tour guide Dana was EXCELLENT!! He is a retired history teacher, so he really brought the experience to life! I thought I knew a lot of the history behind the beginning of the revolution, but he gave us so much new insight. You could feel his passion! The tour took about 3 hours, but Dana told us up front that it might run a little longer and we absolutely did not mind! It was so interesting and jam packed with facts that made the events leading up to the revolution come to life! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston & I would encourage it to be one of the first things you do. I also loved that it was a smaller group because it was easier to hear & participate. You can do the Freedom Trail on your own... but I think this tour is a much better way to experience Boston & well worth the money!
Very informative history. Tour guide was excellent and loved sharing knowledge. Tour size was perfect for us.
Well, thank you! Your kind 5-star review makes us feel we hit all the marks. We work to bring a lot of knowledge to the Freedom Trail, but also our real enthusiasm for Boston history. And our small groups let guides and guests engage. We're so glad you enjoyed.
This tour was super fun and very informative. It brought what I learned in history books to life and filled in a lot of gaps I never knew about. I highly recommend this tour.
We really appreciate your observations, because that is exactly what we hope to do on the Freedom Trail. Our guides work to tell engaging, rich stories that create a full picture of Boston's Revolutionary story. Thank you for your recommendation!
Maz was great!! Super knowledgeable and a great speaker. You can tell he’s a professor. He kept me engaged even during the hot day. Highly recommend!
April, we appreciate five stars and these compliments for Maz! He's a talented teacher and guide with a great sense of humor and so much knowledge to share on the Freedom Trail. We're thrilled to know he won out over a hot day, and that you felt engaged with his stories. Thank you for recommending us!
Expect to learn all about the fascinating American Revolution and what our Founding Fathers went through to gain our freedom.
Bil, thank you very much for five stars! We love to share Revolutionary history along the Freedom Trail, including the fascinating feats of some local Founding Fathers, and the dedicated acts of everyday people, too. We are pleased you enjoyed your tour.
Highly recommend this small group tour. Sven was an excellent guide and provided amazing insight as we walked the Freedom Trail. I am a colonial history buff and I learned a fair bit. Truly valued the small group size of 16 especially when we saw groups of 50. Not for us for sure! Remember, Dr. Joseph Warren!
Thank you, David, for the 5-star review for Sven, a new and very talented member of the Hub Town Tours team! We're feeling flattered to have shared something new with a history buff, and feeling pleased that you enjoyed his stories and insights. We're always glad to see other fans of Dr. Warren, too!
Our tour guide Mikayla was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, well educated and passionate about history. She was fun to listen to and encouraged questions. Her knowledge went far beyond of the scope of the tour. We followed her lunch place recommendations and were very pleased! I hope you get to meet her!
Well, wow, thank you so much! What an absolutely wonderful review for Mikayla. As a historian, she does have the background, experience, and passion for history. We're so pleased you felt engaged with her Freedom Trail stories and answers to your questions, too. And glad she steered you to a great lunch!
Our tour guide, Dimas, was exceptional. If one doesn’t have a love for Boston and history before the tour, they certainly will after his enlightening stories, rich in historical fact. This tour is well worth the price and incomparable to other tours we saw or doing it on your own. Highly recommend!
There's no higher compliment, Doug, so thank you very much-- we love to think we are inspiring love of Boston history! Appreciate five stars and this review for Dimas, a talented teacher, site educator, and guide on the Freedom Trail. That you found his stories rich and even enlightening absolutely makes our day!
Alex (Carlos Alejandro) was a great guide. Someone who was obviously passionate about history - and he wanted to pass on all of his knowledge. He told us compelling information - things I didn’t know about American history- and we also had fun.
Thank you very much for five stars and these kind words! He is passionate about history, and very accomplished as a historian, too! We're thrilled you enjoyed learning some new things while enjoying the tour and the Freedom Trail.
