La Galleria Borghese è un'attrazione imperdibile per chi ama le opere d'arte italiane. Una delle più grandi collezioni d’arte del mondo vi aspetta in una cornice sontuosa e regale costruita da Scipione Borghese, nipote di Papa Paolo V all’inizio del XVII secolo. La collezione di sculture della Galleria Borghese comprende diversi altri capolavori di Gianlorenzo Bernini, tra cui La Verità, il Busto di Scipione Borghese e molti autoritratti dell’artista. Il Museo ospita anche una delle opere più famose del Maestro italiano di scultura neoclassica, Antonio Canova. Entra nella Sala Paolina e fermati a contemplare la meravigliosa statua di Paolina Borghese, moglie di Camillo Borghese, nelle vesti di Venere. Mentre prosegui il tuo tour, ammira la vista degli Antichi Maestri, come la famosa Dama con Unicorno di Raffaello e il Ritratto di Papa Giulio II, o il David di Caravaggio con la Testa di Golia, Ragazzo con un Cesto di Frutta, San Girolamo e Autoritratto come Bacco, solo per citarne alcuni.

The experience was fantastic & educational, engaging, and incredibly easy to get to. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organized and thoughtfully put together. There was so much to learn, and the information was presented in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning, it’s definitely worth the trip. Tour was rescheduled from 11 am to 11:45 am, then the headset guy showed up late, delaying us further. We had booked a train to Naples based on the scheduled 11 am start time. With the delays, we had to go faster than the tour in order to see everything. So we essentially paid for a tour in order to get a ticket, which was disappointing. Art was amazing, thankfully.
We apologize for the delays and understand how frustrating this was, especially with a train already booked. During high season, delays can unfortunately occur more frequently due to crowds and operational issues. We are sorry that the rescheduling and the late arrival of the headset staff prevented you from enjoying the tour as planned.
The guide booked through Viator, Tours with Sylvia, did not show up and I could not enter the gallery.

Provided key access and certainty of tour. Guide was very educated in art history and very familiar with Borghese. Duration was very substantial, hitting all the apparent highlights.
