Noi non crediamo nelle esperienze "cookie-cutter" e nemmeno tu dovresti! Forniamo tour il più personalizzati possibile, il che significa che ogni tour che diamo non è mai lo stesso. Ad eccezione di alcuni cibi da provare assolutamente, il resto è costruito intorno a TE e a ciò che sei curioso di assaggiare. I gruppi sono tenuti piccoli e guidati da una Guida incredibilmente esperta. Sapevate che le baguette sono tra i peggiori tipi di pane in Francia e dovreste chiedere qualcos'altro? Sapevi che ci sono stagioni per il formaggio? Vorresti che qualcuno ti spiegasse le regioni del vino Francese? Le nostre guide possono farlo perché sono ex chef, scrittori di cibo ed esperti di vino - non uno studente che ha memorizzato una sceneggiatura. Passeggerai per la vecchia Bordeaux, con la sua magnifica architettura medievale e le strade di ciottoli, assaggiando il meglio che Bordeaux ha da offrire. Itinerario
Il tour dura circa 3 ore ed è diviso in due parti. La prima metà ti porta a visitare le migliori botteghe artigianali della città - nello specifico una panetteria artigianale, fromagerie, macelleria e pasticceria cannele. Assaggerete alcuni oggetti lungo il percorso, ma l'evento principale avviene durante la seconda metà del tour. Potrete gustare un abbinamento di vino, formaggio e salumi seduti per un gran finale in una cantina / enoteca. Mentre camminiamo, ti segnaliamo alcuni punti di riferimento storici della Città Vecchia Bordeaux dal Cammino di Santiago alla Grosse Cloche - uno dei monumenti più riconosciuti di Bordeaux.
Il nostro tour standard inizia al Cinema Utopia ed è di circa 1 km spezzettato in un'ora e mezza piacevole, prima dell'abbinamento del vino seduto. Ci sono posti per sedersi e riposare lungo il percorso e la distanza può anche essere ulteriormente ridotta se c'è qualcuno nel tour che è anziano o con problemi di mobilità.
Siamo in grado di accogliere clienti senza glutine facendo una sosta speciale bonus a una panetteria senza glutine. Se sei celiaco, ti preghiamo di comunicarcelo in anticipo poiché abbiamo un protocollo speciale.

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! Alex was our tour guide and the attention to detail and the information she gave us was unmatched. My mom and I had the time of our lives. I’m hoping some of our friends and family travel to Bordeaux in the future so we can recommend this tour and Alex to them.

This tour was a perfect way to explore the city, especially as we were only there for the weekend. Our guide, Alex, was fantastic at choosing food which matched our tastes, but also expanded them! We went at a perfect leisurely pace, picking up sweets treats along the way to keep our sugar levels up, before arriving at the wine bar ready to taste the selected foods. Alex had prepared the wine cellar for us, and expertly picked wine to match the food he had chosen. Alex was very knowledgeable and passionate about food and wine, and a brilliant host. He even gave us some historical insight to the city on our walk. We have also received an email with information on where we went and what we had. I really cannot recommend this tour enough.

We absolutely loved this tour! We tried so many different foods and they were paired perfectly with a range of wines. We loved wandering through the city, hearing about culture and history, as well as the best places to go for bread, cheese and meat. Alex, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and answered questions before they were even asked. I would really recommend this tour!

Excellent small group food tour with Alex. Great knowledge of Bordeaux history and culture. We spent the morning visiting small artisan shops and producers with a couple of tastings. The tour finished in an excellent wine shop where we sampled the selection of cheese, charcuterie and sweet treats, with generous matched wine tasting. A great introduction to Bordeaux with a curated list of products and suppliers shared after the tour.

Our guide Alex was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He filled the tour with historical & cultural insights as well as sharing his vast knowledge of the food and wine from the area. Felt like we were out to dinner with new friends rather than on a tour.

Fabulous food and wine tour. Great individualised tour with a professional, friendly and knowledgeable guide. The range of food tastings were delicious and the pace made the tour highly enjoyable. The finale in a beautiful wine shop with a tasting platter of the foods we had sourced on our pleasant walk through the old town was a highlight of a wonderful experience. We had a fantastic time on the Bordeaux Old Town Food and Wine tour! Alex was knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and culture of Bordeaux, and he weaved in his good sense of humor. He tailored the tour to our preferences while pushing us to expand our repertoire of cheeses and wine. The visits to the local bakery, cheese shop, butcher, canneles, pastry, and wine shops made for a fun and excellent pairing of food and wines for our final event! Since this was our first afternoon in Bordeaux, the tour was instrumental in our planning of sites and shops to see over the next two days — which included returning to these shops again. My wife and I were accompanied by a warm, professional, informative guide with excellent English on our Bordeaux food and wine tour on July 11. Alexandra introduced us to her favorite purveyors where we were to choose our favorite charcuterie and cheeses to be eaten at a tasting at a wonderful wine store. It was a great experience, but we would have welcomed a visit to Bordeaux’s famous outdoor market, and no mention was made of the famous macarons that are famous in Bordeaux. However, we were very impressed with Alexandra and felt it was one of the most interesting aspects of our visit to Bordeaux.

To clarify, our tours are built around the very best Bordeaux/France has to offer and unfortunately, most vendors at the market fall well below our standards, hence our decision not to include them. (For context: my background is with Gourmet and Saveur Magazines, so I take this standard very seriously.) As for the macaron, I believe there is some confusion. Bordeaux is known for the canelé, which is why they are so ubiquitous around the city and included in our tour. The macaron you're thinking of is a Saint-Émilion specialty. Absolutely fantastic tour around sampling delicious cheese, meats, pastries and wines. Alex was a great and knowledgeable guide who provided lots of insight and interesting facts about the city of Bordeaux, France, and history of the food/wine. He made sure everyone was happy with the tour plan, and gave us plenty of flexibility with what we wanted to try. Highly recommend
