Bonaire Landsailing Adventures

This was so much fun! My 11 year old daughter had an absolute blast. I think we were all a little apprehensive, but the training and safety video gave us all the necessary information, and after the first lap, it all felt natural. We are already planning another visit to come back and do this!

We had such a blast on this adventure. The shuttle ride was great. The crew consists of a group of well trained and very friendly people. The Blo-carts varied in speed by the sails, so some people in our group went faster than others. It was a bit muddy on the track due to rain, so we did get splattered by mud. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and possibly stained. Helmets, gloves, and sunglasses are loaned to all free of charge. The fresh water and cool water bottles were such a treat. The crew takes photos and they get posted online afterwards. I would highly suggest this truly unique experience!

I had a great experience with Blokart land sailing. It's a family-friendly activity, and the instructors were knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable while having fun.

Great experience from start to finish! The staff was helpful when communicating with them about pick up time and location. The transfer from the port was very informative and our driver was so friendly! ALL staff we encountered were amazing! We were traveling with four teenage boys, and this was just the thing for them (and these parents, too!) ALL of us loved every minute of this experience. We highly recommend!

Very fun workers and good track

It was a blast!! The instructors, driver and owners were super nice. It wears your arms out but well worth the fun!!

It was a lot of fun, not as hard as I thought it would be. The 3 guys running it were all helpful, fun & friendly. Leave early to be on time, it’s a bit further out than you think. Every one in our group had a great time.

We had a great time blokarting! We arrived a few minutes early by rental car. The location is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. We were greeted warmly by staff upon arrival. They helped us check in and confirmed our paperwork was complete. While we waited for our time slot, we watched the previous group expertly circle the track and took in the stunning views of the crashing waves in the distance. We then joined the rest of the participants in our flight for instructions and gear fit. After a short (and slightly humorous) safety video, we donned our protective gear: helmet and gloves. As we did so, the previous group returned their karts. We then took a short walk to the starting line, were given a short review of the race track logistics, and were matched with a kart based on body mass (combined if riding as a pair). After we clambered in our karts, the staff performed another safety check on our rope, belt, and gear. Then, a strong push from staff and we were off and landsailing! It was amazing how fast we could go just by wind power! It takes just a couple laps to orient yourself to the process of simultaneously steering, and holding and tightening the rope. In no time we were making tight turns and running double-wide side-by-side down the straightaways. Our hour of sailing flew by, literally. The staff guides you to the pit stop, and you all come together for a quick group photo. We returned our borrowed gear and that was it. Sadly, our landsailing adventure had come to an end. Thankfully, the staff was taking photos and videos of our ride and kindly provided us with a link to the shared album for retrieval in 24-48 hours. Now our amazing landsailing experience is safely archived in both our personal and digital memories.
